Created an account just to post here. I'm so glad to see you're still working on this because I've been going crazy wanting to play the game on my AYN Thor.

Wow. This took longer than I thought. I'm finally done with the NPCs. These files were more complex than the normal story files. Here's a little insight into the files.View attachment 559878

The first 2 bytes of each script_data file indicate the number of pointers. In this example there are 5. Then the 5 pointers come as 2 bytes as marked in color here. At the G-Center, Bullet Shops, Score Shops and an NPC in the laboratory there are additional pointers in front of a few text blocks. I had to find this out first. Well now it's done and I have completed a big task.

This is where I was crashing out at. It gets a little more complex. Thanks for doing this as well.

Hello there, amazing work with this translation, no issues so far into the story until Round 6 where I went to Volcano to purchase some bullets and the game systematically crashes when trying to purchase f Light after the clerk says "Launches many light orbs"

Thanks! I actually didn't notice that, but I found the issue. A new line is created using $n, but for f Light the n is missing. That's why it crashes at the end of the line. I'll release a new patch this weekend that fixes the issue

Hello, thanks again for the update, however I encountered another issue with the quest "Myst Grapper" (last quest from the post-story questline)

Spoiler: post game quest

after defeating Zeke, the game unlocks Zeke as a playable character then the game freezes before being able to save making it impossible to actually unlock Zeke

I have no idea where to find the last bullets on page 7 for example

I found the issue and already fixed it. The quest should be completable with the next patch.

According to what I found online, the Bullets on page 7 were originally distributed via Wi-Fi. As far as I know, it's no longer possible to obtain them today unless you use cheats.
I did learn something new about the game because of this, though. Over the next few days or weeks, I'll be releasing a somewhat larger patch that adds more things to do.

You're right. I'll take a look and see what's causing the issue.
I've already listed the problem with the letters in the name under the known issues.

There is an entire untranslated area that is accessible if you input the following code in the title screen:

This code opens the CoroCoro Cup registration menu, which obviously is unavailable today, but permanently marks the save file with a flag that allows this area to be entered without any cheat or save modification.
The area feature a challenge battle with all 10 major characters in a row.

The code was mentionned in the CoroCoro comics back in the days
