Something I'll never forget about X-MEN Past Imperfect Future Continuous Tense Days of Present Time... the Centinels kills Bobby (IceMan) very easily.

IceMan and Storm are virtually immortal, specially Bobby whom doesn't need an actual atmosphere to survive, as he can come back from steam/humidity.
Essentially, IceMan is immune to elemental attacks, and Storm is immune to atmosphere or lack of one.

Wonder Boy was a game licensed to SEGA, but the original game designer held the copyright to level design and gameplay mechanics... thus Adventure Island arrived to NES by Hudson Soft.
However, all my life believed the "legend" that Adventure Island was made because of a guy named Toshiyuki Takahashi,  which was said to shoot at 30 times per second with a NES controller... thus "Adventure Island" was released in Japan after this guy, and the game is known as: Takahashi Meijin no Bōken Jima with Master Higgins being drawn after Toshiyuki Takakashi...

However... here in Mexico, every veteran gamer knows "Adventure Island" as "El Capulinita" because Master Higgins looks oddly similar to 1950's comedian Gaspar Henaine, Capulina.

Takahashi Meijin was known for 16 shots a second

The guy got really famous from his corocoro column and TV appearances - he was even featured in manga and anime

When Adventure Island was made, they could have used the same character from Wonder Boy - but chose to use Takahashi instead because of his wide appeal

You could say he was the mascot of Hudson in the same way Mario was the mascot of Nintendo

Edit:
Also, adventure Island is based on the arcade version of Wonder boy - so the console games don't share stages
