Do I need to do any extra steps to get this working? I copied the nro as well as the game files from the PC version, but it just crashes.

Is there some sort of guide on how people have been porting these Android games to switch? I am desperate to have Kirikiroid2 ported. There are literally hundreds of visual novels on PC that would be able to be played on switch if so. I checked and it uses ARM V8.

Switch is not supporting android proot.

Gamenative would be even better than Kirikiroid honestly but anything to play visual novels would be awesome. I patched my own NRO for VNDS-Love which is working great. But the number of games you can play on it is still fairly limited, and they have to be converted to work with VNDS first.

The problem is what you're asking for is written for Linux, not Android. That means probably proot and almost certainly box64. Neither of which is supported using this method. So a port would be a source re-write.
