Does this have the capability to make the entire screen used? I do not like cut off black screen etc...

Would be great to use these with my AR glasses <3
hoping for full speed, smash bros melee, and metroid trilogy.

How did you get them to boot? I get camera error on both. Segaboot.gcm is in place.
I basically copied my entire TriForce folder from my Linux Dolphin build, which already had my Test Mode settings intact, to sdmc://switch/Dolphin/TriForce.

EDIT: The UI doesn't seem to let us map the Test or Service buttons, so find or make yourself saves with Namcam disabled from PC and recopy the TriForce folder to the above directory.

Which version of lossless.dll (android, linux or windows)? How well does it work?

@Nagaa Can I request an update reminder and downloader across your emulators. When a new release is out.

I think you need Lossless 3.1 Frame Gen which is most recent update from last year june 2025ish.
I couldnt find a archive for it tho so i bought it on steam

I might archive my copy idk, but it needs to be Lossless scaling 3.1 and take Lossless.dll from it.
I couldnt find a copy so i bought a copy off Humblebundle but its also on steam. Lossless has a official site and its linked through steam as well.

As for differences it has the standard qwerks of frame gen but it smooths out stuttering games like silent hill 2, for more intense games its not gonna feel as good. The more motion, the more distortion.

Overall its decent would recommend to get but most games CPU limited so OC will benefit over 1750mhz with 1900-2100mhz being optimal.

Just curious I been seeing these posts for lossless and I’m wondering if this helps on switch v1, that’s the switch I have. I also have a modded switch lite but based on oc posts I seen before those might be weaker since I think I read make sure to be under 12v. I currently just use sys-clk.

A question about lossless
Now that they are incorporating it into emulators, wouldn't it be possible to put it on the switch to run on top of its own games? There must be games that would benefit from this feature, maybe doom, for example... And that it didn't weigh as much on the gpu as the 60fps mods.

I have a Switch V1 and use VenomNX Overclocking. i boost the CPu up to 1900mhz or 2100mhz. For GPU while it usually sits below 50% utilized you want it around 700mhz or higher, and Ram at 1600 which seems to be a decent configuration, also to limit heat have battery at 100% and charging.

For V1 1750 is a decent OC thats safe with 1900-2100 being the last “safe” Oc settings before getting into heavy OCs. Charger recommended. If it stays below 54-55C youre fine, if it goes above 58-59C repaste switch, clean vents, have in cooler ambient environment. Or go down clocks

For switch lite youll get better OCing experience and boost higher but just need a charger.
Both V1 and Lite recommended to use charger

I tried Need for Speed Underground 2, it runs smoothly with OC though the races are like 30% ish slower.

So, does this need overclock to run at all?

Yeah, in some cases not even overclock can manage to reach the game's default framerate, for example Mega Man 9 can't reach 30 fps even when overclocked to the max, others like Melee fluctuate and can reach 60 fps for brief moments when you select one of the simpler stages.

tico runs better

The performance difference is negligible, at least for the games that I've tested, but Dolphin has much better compatibility.

The few games i tried were running about the same as on Tico, but I'll check the games mentioned above to see if anything can be improved

The main difference is that Tico uses the RetroArch core, while this port is based on the standalone version of Dolphin
Dan and i are working together to improve both ports :yay:

Got it to launch but no controls. Can you post a screenshot of your triforce folder to see what I'm missing?

Customizable controls

Ik people want to replace Tico but for decent amount it’s more mature or Mixed bag results so less clear.
For tico emulator performance parody we do need a PSP emulator as well, i get 3x resolution on stock handheld clocks in most games. And standalone i cant do that since its OpenGL.
Also updated Duckstation standalone, Saturn and catching up on 3DS and such.

I have so many forks and ports of emulators waiting for mature one like PS2 😭

Can you figure out why Dor2 has slowdown and doesn't on tico , i know its different, but the standalone does the graphics much nicer
