Prince of Persia was one of my first games and I had the joy of playing on a 486 laptop that lagged it to all hell and back, so getting past game over and game start screens was REAL fun.
It's really a gem. I've gotten pretty good at it over the years, and I've made a few custom levelsets (working on a mod for it right now, too :D). It's one of the few games that's stood the rest of time for me.

Other game that drove me insane back then is, funny enough, available from its devs via browser https://www.ludoid.fr/PopCorn1988/index.html and when the colorless loading screen took if not 10 mins to load, losing and restarting was just brutal.

Glad there's newer emulators on newer software. I don't think I could bring myself to play these games if they still ran like they did when I was a kid.
