I've been doing modchip installs for friends for a while now, and as a recent electronics engineering graduate with the job market the way it is, I was hoping to make a little bit of extra cash by offering installs as a service. I know Nintendo is extremely litigious when it comes to modchips. (Before the hwfly chips were on the market, Nintendo swiftly took down my eBay listing selling MOSFETs for the picofly mod ) Does anyone here have any experience dealing with Nintendo in the UK in this regard? I've read that they quickly take down listings on sites like etsy and eBay, so I've set up my own website where I plan on offering the service. If Nintendo are unable to take it down, how likely am I to face legal trouble? Do they have any basis for legal action in the UK, like they have in the US with the DMCA?

It is hard to believe that someone with a 4 year electrical engineering degree would be dumb enough to engage in organized crime. But if that is your wish, you will get what you deserve in due time. Someone with your alleged education really shouldn't need to ask such a dumbass question in this or any other forum.

Allowing people to run their own software on devices they own is organised crime now? that's the most wack shit i've heard in a while
