if you met your family/guardians when you were a little kid via time travel, what would be the dialogue?

it would probably have been a lot funnier if some younger users replied.
i think, as you get older, a lot of us have a lot of regrets.
The thing is, I have zero regrets. I would never want to go back, simply because I changed too much.

I am happy with what I became, even though my parents, former instructors, etc. disowned me after they all went through trauma. I became exactly what God needed.

Let me tell you all point blank: your past mistakes _make_ you capable today. No one can design a fully working brand new car engine without trial and error: your "mistakes" are lanterns that show you where to walk.

I used to have regrets, got in the way of me doing well. now, I am a retired percfectionist; easier to be close to perfection _without_ perfectionism.

Don't use the past to have regrets: use it to make you sharper in the present. Those "mistakes" are why people go from kindergarden to a career; they _learn_.

To my mom I would have nothing to say.
And to my dad I would say: xy years from now, dont summon me back to my hometown.
I hate it there. I moved out for good reason, and I will move out again.
Have fun living there by yourself. I wont let my life be ruin.--

Oh wait that got a bit annoyed

I would say: "nice to meet you all. Great that you were my parents, I baked a cake for you.
I love how you taught me to be selfsufficient all my life and internalizing that most parents are useless-"

Ok I give up.
I don't want a timemachine.

I would just slap past me in the face and tell er to "do everything you did, except ever listening to anyoneelse, you know best. Only bae can be trusted)

Yep.

As I said: Thank goodness I have no timemachine.
It would just collect dust. I don't regret any of my choices in my life (emphasis on "my")

They aren’t your real parents, they will fuck up your life and beat you senseless if you stay, get the fuck out of there.

Oh yeah and buy Google and Apple stock.
