Pokemon Too Many Types 2 gets new post-game Battle Challenge in its v1.5.0 update
If you had trouble keeping up with the type chart of the main series, you should probably just close out this post now. Pokemon Too Many Types debuted in 2023, adding 44 types brand new types to the chart and leaving the player to figure out the rest. What's super effective against Gamer type? What even is a Prime type? The hack took the internet by storm, eventually leading to a sequel in Too Many Types 2 late last year. Featuring a new storyline and even more types to navigate, it did a fantastic job of building on the success of its predecessor.
Since that initial release we've seen a number of bug fixes and minor changes, with today's update marking the first major addition in The Battle Challenge. Situated in Lilycove City Contest Hall, The Battle Challenge sees you pick three Pokemon to fight against other random teams of three. Opposing Pokemon will be kitted out with battle items and Mega Stones, giving you a challenge that will really put your mastery of the obscene type chart to the test. For your troubles you'll win BP and exclusive ribbons, with new Mega Stones also being added alongside this facility.
