A Thought: I Wonder How Many People Are Playing My SNES Games…

Hey everyone,

Today I caught myself thinking about something kind of random but nice:
I wonder how many people out there are playing my little SNES games.

I’m not actually trying to find out numbers or stats — that’s not really the point.
It’s more like a feeling, an idea that makes me smile. Just imagining that maybe someone, somewhere, even for a few minutes, is having fun with something I created… it’s a pretty great thought.

I don’t know if this happens to any of you, but sometimes I like to imagine my work reaching someone out there, even if I never know about it.
Just wanted to share that thought.

I actually removed all my SNES patches. I learned a lot in 2025, and now I want to recode everything from scratch. I want my first 2026 releases to be much better, so I’ll be rebuilding the old patches too, but with way higher quality.

Don’t worry about the previews not showing anymore. I’m fixing everything, and very soon the full version of the game will be released with all the info, new images, and even animated presentation GIFs. What’s coming will be much better and more complete than before.

I didn’t even know this site had a blog feature, so that’s news to me.And yeah, I did remove my SNES patches — but let’s be honest, anyone who wanted them probably downloaded them long before I took them down.

Yeah, there’s also the blog section, but honestly this part of the forum — General Off-Topic Chat — works just fine for sharing thoughts or updates, so it’s all good.

As for the SNES patches: I had released seven of them, and I removed them because, like I already explained, they weren’t really up to standard and need to be recoded properly. I get that now more people seem interested since they were mentioned again, but taking them down was the right call.

I get what you’re saying, but sharing a thought every now and then doesn’t automatically turn the place into chaos. As long as people post respectfully and keep things relevant to the Off‑Topic section, it’s all perfectly manageable. A little common sense goes a long way.
