I’m thinking of selling my PS Vita. I haven’t been up to date with what’s been happening with the PS vita hacking scene but last I checked, you can go to a webpage and hack the device straight from there, is this still the case?

I haven’t my man PSN account on it at the moment. Is there anyway to remove it without losing the downloaded games?

Should I format everything, hack the device again, create a dummy PSN account and download some games ready for the new owner?

Thanks

Yes, be carefully about including pirates games. You can be delisted by whatever site you are selling from

I’ve just formatted the console and memory card, followed the guide and have hacked the system again. I am unable to log in to PSN though? Get a password error message. Have tried two different accounts. Does an account need to be logged in to play on a hacked vita?

You don't need to be logged in, I mean you can give a dummy account if you want, it is not necessary unless it is purchased content from that account.

That’s great. I did set up a dummy account but couldn’t log into it for some reason.
