We need to normalize taking products out of scalpers’ carts
Scalping is a shitty practice and shouldnt be applauded. Many people make half-assed justifications for it like it's the consumers fault people walk in fill carts full of things they don't need.

Common sense. All religion was made to control the masses in the times of lack of common sense nor science, in the most convenient way for the inventor.
Common sense isnt a source and that doesnt have anything to do with my question.

To which part?
I mean the bible literally starts with "the greatest story ever told", and was written over 100 years after Jesus died, by a guy who had never met Jesus or any of his disciples.

I'm not against religion, and while I have my own beliefs that I try to keep to myself. Whoever forces others into a religion to which they do not approve of their values is honestly sickening. This is not towards you, by the way, but there are some who do to take advantage of someone. Oh, and there's also cults that approve of sex crimes which do not belong here EVER.

Clone flashcarts should be the new norm if no-one can afford the original that sells for too much of an inflated price, just like the Everdrive. It is what preserves the integrity of consoles for the future once they are no longer manufactured.

I'm an atheist and I don't associate myself with atheists because they are some of the most awful miserable people on the planet, and now that I am about to have a kid I will try to get her to church just because I've seen the outcome of growing up without religion (specially for women).

It really is a weird feeling of "A lot of this sounds really dumb and I don't personally believe in it but humans are innately dogmatic creatures and they will replace one dogma with another"

Then no one will develop anything new. Hell, especially nowadays, when a single new game is $70-80, paying $100 for an entire library of a system/adjacent systems is perfectly acceptable. What NEEDS to happen, but that never will, is legalization of making emulation of out-of-print consoles aka releasing their OS roms officially, but no modern corp would ever do that in favor of profiteering from selling their own emulators.

I think your copy of the Bible is a bootleg one
You've offered no retort. Religion is like having a dick, it's fine to have one, but you don't need to wave it around in public. Not suggesting you are, but you've asked, i've given you information, then nothing.

Religion is just a way of supressing the masses, I mean it's been mistranslated so many times, the english version has been changed multiple times, the stories told within the book are taken from other "religions" yet this is the 1 true one?

I can provide multiple examples of fallacy in the stories told, I mean for instance, how did Adam and Eve have 2 children, Kane and Able, then populate the world?

How can god create a rock impossible to move? But still be all powerful?

Bootleg? But it's signed and everything!

SOME people (I suspect a minority) will treat atheism like a religion and get fucking weird about it. Other people just aren't religious. If you consider yourself capable of the latter, then please give your hypothetical daughter the same chance, rather than forcing religious dogma you don't even believe in on her.

I will never understand the popularity of analogue "clock hands" watches in 2026 (and years prior) where all manner of digital devices exist which don't require interpreting the position of hands to tell the time. I am utterly astounded that they are still popular in this day & age.

Weird way of saying you can tell the time, but whatever. Personally I prefer the retro version of the sundial, just hard lugging it around with me all day.

Not everything needs to be digital, or IoT to be better, I mean the best watches in the world are analogue. It's a time old (pun intented) process of craftsmanship, get yourself a nice watch like a Tudor/Tag or something, and enjoy walking around with that piece of kit.

Haa, I wanted to be a watch person, when I was in college. You know how it starts, you notice people's watches and admire the style. You start thinking about the additional dials, a busy face design or a simple, dignified face, etc. You kinda know what you like immediately.

In the end, I'm not unhappy being a regular guy with no watch. I do admit that, sometimes, a patient will come in with a real fancy one, and I immediately check it out.
