I am trying to convince myself to buy it on switch and comparable cheats would have helped.

I think its like 6 million exp on both to uncap. At least around that. I put 9mil on both and I have job max and level 99. I also have max money over 10k

its not working on me, this cheats didn't show up on edizon

99% of the time it is user error if you get it from gbatemp

there is a good chance your BID don't match, if it don't match move on, you probably can't do much about it, it is almost like the game title don't match

What you can learn from that cheat is it is very easy for you to do a manual search. Then do a pointer search with just small offset and go for the same depth and you would have ported the cheats just like that.

I'm a simple enduser that struggles with even basic Cheat Engine processes that go beyond basic repeated searching of changed numbers. No amount of tutorials could click thus far over many years. It's too abstract for me to understand on a deeper level. This applies to any sort of code related work though, any sort of hex editing too.

Therefore no, that cheat tells me next to nothing beyond a specific BID requirement
