Tried deleting both contents and /switch/.overlays and rebooted, same error.
Inside contents:
00FF0000636C6BFF (sys-clk)
010000000000bd00 (MissionControl)
420000000007E51A (nx-ovlloader)
420000000000000B (sys-patch)

Guess will just wait for new HATS and try again then.

i want you to go to first page of this thread and down load retroarch then extract and make sure when you copy everything over that the cores get replaced if you only updated retroarch nro then you will get a crash but the download should have everything needed i could also try posting the one im using incase they updated again and for some reason its not working

Thanks for getting back to me.
Im sure, deleted my old old Retroarch directory and uploaded only the one in first page (all files) via ftp. Stil same error. I did it three times, and every time same error. Either have to hard reset when launching via HB menu or that error msg when launching in applet mode.........
Also tried the new HATS files from December 23. I have not tried the ones from 25. but will do so just to try, will also delete retroarch folder and extract and copy the retroarch from first post again, just to be sure.

Edit:
So installed latest HATS pack from December 25, deleted old retroarch dir, extracted retroarch from first post, copied to sdcard and tried again.
Same result as earlier unfortunately.

Emuiibo was updated yesterday.

https://github.com/XorTroll/emuiibo/releases

But after deleting the recompiled version that was blocking BOTW and installing the new one, UltraHand indicates that emuiibo doesn't seem to be present.

Have I missed something?

Is anyone else getting this same message when trying to open the latest version of Emuiibo (v1.1.2) on GitHub?

For those interested,

I installed Emuiibo v. 1.1.2 downloaded from GitHub and replaced switch/.overlays/emuiibo.ovl with the one from version 1.1.1 uploaded here on page 1.

And... BOTW didn't freeze!

did xortroll update emuiibo again because the 1.1.2 that he released 3days ago was not working i am getting emuiibo not present when it launches i am testing right now with the overlay 1.1.1 with the contents of 1.1.2 to see if it works

so update i got it working what i did was use the overlay file from the recompiled emuiibo 1.1.1 then i copied the contents folder from the 1.1.2 emuiibo just released so on my overlay it says emuiibo 1.1.1 but im using the 1.1.2 contenrts and it works for some reason the actual 1.1.2 overlay file is not being read properly im not sure why but at least botw is working with emuiibo again thank you @XorTroll for updating and all the other devs that work so hard so we can have fun

Better to check the devs gits to see if they have done actual fixes. Some stuff linked on the first post of this topic is just patched to "work" and doesn't have any other fixes or changes. Goldleaf for example, the version linked in this topic is just patched. But newer official version with several other other fixes and additions is here: https://github.com/XorTroll/Goldleaf/releases/tag/1.2.0 First post needs an edit because several links now lead to outdated versions.

Thanks a lot for the help to the community! I'm trying with this one, and looks like it gives me an error (on FW 21.1 and atmosphere 1.10.1) when I try to run it. Do you know if maybe I am in the wrong version?

I only mirrored what drizztbsd put on archive.org (link works again, BTW), and I'm not on firmware 21.x.x, so I don't know.

But are you launching retroarch in FULL RAM mode (override) ? You must use this (not applet mode with album).

All good. A lot of others are also referring people to the first post of this topic. And I understand why, it's just at this point the first post is no longer up to date. I'm just trying to help people get the latest proper versions. I know that's also what you were trying to do. I didn't mean any disrespect or anything if you took it that way.

yes it definatly needs an update there is a recompiled version that actualy lauches but when you go to install or download with a freeshop it crashes

i just find a solution got tinfoil work by 1st using the newest version Hats pack then i replace newest version kefir and got tinfoil work. u should try.

first what is kefir and i have the latest atmosphere 1.10.1 im on fw 21.1.0 with latest sys patch these are all the things that would be in the hats pack yes? and how does kefir help get tinfoil working if you could give me explanation i would greatly appreciate it so i can try this thanks

update i got it working thank you i did some research to find out that kefir is a modded atmosphere which has recently been updated to work with latest firmware however once the tinfoil devs finaly update ill probably go back to normal but we will see anyways thanks again

Is this Kefir safe? I'm reading the change log and wondering how they managed to restore the 40mb memory and remove the need to recompile apps for new fw... Shouldn't this info be relevant to @SciresM ?

There was some homebrew I saw just in the last couple of days that was said to restore the memory by taking it from the browser or something of that nature. Can't for the life of me remember where I saw it or what it was called. But looking at the notes myself, this Kefir/Kefirosphere seems to be doing the same thing. If a game requires use of the browser for something like an EULA, it will crash. I read the same note on whatever the hb was that I saw.
