ok so issues with error 2168-0001 and 2168-0003 are not sigpatch (sys patch) related?
When those crashes happen what are you doing? You should remove all your old Atmosphere/contents folder or rename it and only put syspatch in it, then add one module to it at a time to find out what's breaking it. Some old modules like salty nx and tesla overlay needed updated to work with the new firmware 21.x, if you didn't update those then you'll get crashes.

Thanks for the info, but doing some tests and reinstalling AMS several times, I discovered that if I select the main user, it displays this loop but if I select user number 2 it doesn't.
Use the Linkalho mod.

@josete2k instead of being funny, help him.

Same question all days.

Same answers.

Please, use the search...

Just use linkalho mod to relink the account OR use plane mode OR add some lines in the AMS system_settings.ini...

Thanks everyone for the help, links, etc. I tried all the solutions you gave me but it didn't work.
- I used linkalho but the loading loop was infinite.
- DNS even though I had Incognito which I don't know how to remove now :)
- Pack update 2.1.1.0 + format micro SD, but now it shows me the message to download the program again, even for the MK cartridge, which I enabled: nogc = 0
- I used linkalho again: unlink to link and everything remained the same.
Are they like in the photos ?_?

@Metro City i don't understand what you're doing, is it that hard to follow a guide and install Atmosphere(1.10.1),sys-patch 1.58-v5 3 then update all the homebrew you need?

You guys are great! I was giving up, since 2.1.0.0 didn't work even when I changed the micro SD. I wondered why it's so difficult! Then I decided to install 2.1.1.0 and tested it on the new micro SD, but nothing! Last night I removed the folders to put them completely clean on the old SD, I put stratosphere.ini in the config folder, the card symbol appears, I select aero mode and this time the game starts! So I launch linkalho, unlink reboot, link reboot, I turn off aero mode and magically it works again! Thanks everyone and happy holidays! :grog:

Is there a list of games that will not run on FW 19.0? I am especially interested in Hitman Absolution and System Shock Remake. Where could one find such information?

@Taffer Hitman Absolution&System Shock Remake requires minimum OFW 20.5.0&AMS 1.9.5.

Wrong, System Shock works fine on 19.0.1FW. I used Awoo to install, if that matters. I'm not sure about Hitman.

It should work on 18.0.0 because it uses master key 0x11 to decode the nca files. It does says it was compiled with 20.5.21.0, so maybe you will have issues if it needs to use a library from that sdk version. Probably it's best to just use FW 20.5.0 or 21.x if you run into any issues like crashing at a certain point in the game.

No I did not patch with SAK, or any other program, just installed as is.
Most installers let you install and ignore the firmware required version. You can use the game nca files because you are able to decode them using master key 0x11. It still doesn't mean you're not going to face issues. It the SDK the game was compiled with is 20.5.0, then usually some libraries are updated in the SDK and when the game calls functions from those libraries it might cause the game to crash if they don't exist. It's not an issue to update to 20.5.0 as most homebrew and overlays work with that, most things have also been updated now to work on 21.x. To be on the safe side you can have 2 emunands, 1 on 20.5.0 and one on 21.x, that way you are going to be covered for all outcomes. I have Sysynand on 21.+ because that runs faster than sd card based installed games, a mini emunand on 20.5.0 for compatability and another mini emunand on 11.0.0 (for hdd xci loading of older games with sxos).

@BigOnYa
These are my sources, sorry but what is SAK?
Switch Army Knife (SAK), apparently it's a gui tool to handle xci/.nsp (hfs0/pfs0), and convert the formats from one to the other, compress and decompress them, but im guessing he's referring to the mechanic of patching the binaries, which most probably involve re-encrypting the ncas to a lower master key

there are some instances where this works, as what determines if a game should run or not is usually tied to SDK level, and SDK level usually only latest for first party (nintendo) and very high-tier third-party like square-enix (basically japaneese companies)

@bth of course i don't know it,it's a PC tool and i only use my smartphone to install games via NS-USBloader and Awoo or Tinwoo and i always rely on the Switch's warnings when i start the game or where the minimum required firmware comes from.
