You missed the "and there is nothing else on the machine", which is likely to be false, what else is on the machine may make all the difference. Just the other day someone said 1.10.1 don't work on 21.1.1, and the reason is with the something else which was also there.

If someone said it works it means something even without saying what else is also there but not the other way around.

I upgraded from an older firmware and ran into an issue where when you try to launch any game, it kept spamming "please wait" like it's trying to launch a game, and then it just loops like that every half second. So I tried to downgrade and I've just been screwed since lol

so i have tried this and it does launch but when i go to download with my freeshop it starts to download then crashes im on fw21.0.1 with atmosphere 1.10.1 and hekate 1.4.2

is v4 more stable than v5? because I tried using all of the most up-to-date atmosphere 1.10.1, hekate 6.4.2, sys-patch 1.5.8 v5, and the zip from this site called "Hekate+AMS-package3-sigpatches-1.10.1P-cfw-21.1.0_V0". But when I did all of that, going to launch the game, I ran into a weird issue where the game would constantly try to launch over and over every half second

v5 have support for firmware 21.x.x booth are the same

hello I have a newly set up switch with firmware 21.1.0. I have atmosphere 1.10.1E. I can't get Tinfoil started. at DBI insall starts Tinfoil and breaks off immediately. self-install is canceled immediately. What can I do? Thank you

Manually find the files (NSP/XCI) with a PC, and use that DBI, or any installer, I personally like Awoo.

Mine does that too. I think two pages back someone said to just reinstall AMS. I've been too lazy to get around to it.

My only thinking you should reinstall your games using Awooinstaller, some people had problem when upgrading from fw 19 to 20

@impeeza it's not a game problem that needs to be reinstalled,it's a firmware problem when you disable flight mode and start a game i had it too.
I updated to the latest OFW 21.1.0 and Atmosphere 1.10.1 with sys-patch 1.58-v5 and Hekate 6.4.2 and it disappeared.

@impeeza where do i backup since I only use my smartphone and not the PC?
I've already lost over 209 games(some of which i can no longer find)following the wrong advice of someone here who made me restore the console while only keeping the saves.

Thanks for the info, but doing some tests and reinstalling AMS several times, I discovered that if I select the main user, it displays this loop but if I select user number 2 it doesn't.
