Has anyone had similar issues with their GameCube adapter and Nintendont ?

To make things even more confusing, the adapter only works with Nintendont when the switch is on “pc mode” instead of “switch/wii u”

Which I assume is also abnormal?

I tried to run HID Test on vWii to check the controller.ini file but the app seems to freeze/hang after showing what version of HID Test I ran.

I was able to fix the triggers, but the device still needs PC mode, and the C stick is inverted

Code:
[Third Party GC Adapter HS-WU025 in PC Mode]
VID=0079
PID=1846

Polltype=1

; Multiple input (several ports). Don't know if it's the same settings for 2 ports than 4 ports.
MultiIn=1
MultiInValue=01

A=1,02
B=1,04
X=1,01
Y=1,08

Z=1,80

; Notes from what was seen in other files:
; 1 = Typical Digital input | 2 = Mix of both?
DigitalLR=2
L=1,10
R=1,20
LAnalog=7
RAnalog=8

Power=0
S=2,02

; Similar to the HID2VPAD functions:
; 0 = NORMAL | 1 = HAT | etc
DPAD=0
Left=2,80
Right=2,20
Up=2,10
Down=2,40

StickX=3
StickY=4
CStickX=-6
CStickY=-5
Rumble=1

Try this one and see if the C-Stick works. It also needs to be on PC mode tho.

EDIT: Nevermind, they seem identical...
Thank you anyways ! It’s good to know I was on the right track at least

I wonder why Wii U mode doesn’t work at all like it leads you to believe

''Wii U mode'' works with the Switch and SSB4 for Wii U. For homebrew apps (such as Nintendont) you need to use PC mode. I don't know why this happens with third party adapters.
That is still super helpful to know thank you!

I thought I just had a bad adapter.

But I can live with an inverted c stick. At least until I find a way to get hid test to actually run and not freeze on boot to try and fix those values
