I updated ofw to 21 and have no trouble entering/leaving sleep mode on emummc 20.4 with latest atmosphere.
I don't know if it's because my unit is Erista or what, but no sleep trouble for me

I think it only happens to Mariko units, don't know.
I don't have any Erista units, but it's good to know that. If you don't have any problems, then great, but don't update EmuMMC, it doesn't work yet, it will be compatible soon.

Of course, I always wait for atmo to officially support a given firmware before updating my emummc.
I was surprised to read that ofw version could impact emummc this time so I tested and did not reproduce and though this could be worth mentioning here (but yes Mariko users should probably stay below 21.0 even on ofw if they intend to use their emummc as before)

Dear Switch-experts,


I have a Question:


Since 5 years i use a modded Switch with Atmosphere to cheat in Pokemon, win Online-Battles, and feel myself great.

But today, i accidently updated my Switch.....Now Atmosphere dont work. The Switch work (ist not Broken).


This happens me like 4-5 times in the past also, when i was to fast and i accidently "accepted" the Update-Adivce when i tred to start a Game. But after the new Atmosphere-Update was there, everything was fine, and i could Keep going use Atmosphere with PKHEX.


Now some Youtubers say that the new Switch-Update crashes Atmosphere (forever). Does ist mean, even if the new Atmosphere-Update Comes, i cant use it anymore?

Is not. but the update is downloaded and then is ask to upgrade and if you accept the upgrade will happen. so read every message before press [A]

@impeeza this happened to me today: i was transferring some files via FTP from Switch to smartphone and in the end i found myself with the latest update installed and in settings i have everything off,precisely to avoid these things.

The main question is: Does anyone know if Atmosphere will work again after the new Atmosphere update?

Or is Atmosphere broken forever because of the new Nintendo Switch update? (On Nintendo Switches that accidentally installed the new update)?

@Sonic2025 only work Hekate,if launch Atmosphere you receive a verticale screen red error and only solution Is reboot in OFW,if you want use again tour Nintendo Switch.

Nope, Atmosphere works now again! Just with a little Issue

=> I can use Checkpoint with no Problems
=> But if i use Filezilla, i have to restart the Switch, after changing the Save-Files. But the Change with the Save-file works! Its just 1 Minute mnore work for me now

But the rest is fine for me

This is huge. I'm glad I have kept my emuMMC on 19.0.1.

The best to do! sadly only until a game force you to upgrade, if you do not own a game needing the latest FW you can stay on 19 for ever.

Yeah it has killed a few things so far like JKSV, Breeze, Checkpoint etc...

if you have space to spare, having multiple emuMMCs is a viable option in my opinion, while my main emuMMC is on firmware 19, I also have a secondary emuMMC for the very few games that requires firmware 20+ when I don't want to use stock.

SciresM tell about this problem look on my previous post, most Homebrew will have a error on close of homebrew, JKSV works fine until you close it. on the Atmosphère release page is the explanation about the reason for that error.
