Hoping someone likes this old game enough to help me out here! I'm struggling to get through Hyrule Warriors Legends on my 2DSXL, mostly because other then the player character? everyone is a orange cat sharing a SINGLE brain-cell and it's driving me up the wall!!! I have more fun in adventure mode then the story because the half hour-45min missions are TEDIOUS with how stupid the characters are! It's as if, once they get to the location I send them too? they don't actually know how to fight! unless they're on the screen with my player driven character they don't do ANYTHING but get hurt! is there a way to make it so all troops I can control by sending them to places on the map, just do the exact same things I do with my player character for weak and strong attacks in the area? at least so they aren't USELESSLY STANDING THERE!

I did a adventure mode challenge at level 50 where I needed A rank to get a heart container for my favorite warrior, 3 dodongo's in the area and I had to have them all killed in less then 10 minutes while taking very little damage! the fact that unless I sent all 3 warriors to a single dodongo to power them up so they did 30% of the job at a maximum is ridiculous! especially since if I sent them out so each warrior was facing a dodongo? I had to go bail them out SEVERAL times because they nearly died at least 4 times!

I'm playing normal difficulty BTW! I play videogames to relax, not to get stressed out by having useless twitballs as my allies that DON'T DO THEIR JOBS!!!

please save my sanity and help me distribute a few braincells!

I have no clue if there are any cheats like that for the game. It seems to be extremely niche when it comes to cheat making. When it comes to the AI I have no clue how you could modify that, unless you maybe changed their damage to make up for their slowness.

I might be able to make a cheat to modify their damage, but I don't know if I will have the time.

I've looked around and haven't been able to find anything, which is a shame cuz I can't even find a way of locking the camera behind the character so when I move I can at least see where I'm going without constantly staring at the minimap to aim myself, I even tried sending my own character around on the map and swapping around to move me around but then that took too long...
your right that the slowness is probably the biggest issue! I found a code to speed up the entire game by 2 or change the main players speed, but nothing for dealing with the incompetency of your pea-brained allies

Perhaps you should consider, y'know, playing a different game..?

I tried playing Hyrule Warriors Legends for a little while and could not quite make sense of it. I might take another swing at it sometime and see if I can figure out what all the fuss is about.

trust me I do play other games! the battle mechanics and strategy in HW:L is actually extremely good!
if I could keep the camera behind my player character when I run around and give my allies a braincell or two so they actually fight and do things when I'm not there to do all the work for them? then I'd have 100%ed it by now which is apparently a 1000+ hour grind! and as someone who loves playing offline games on the go on my 3DS? having something THAT big? its a really good thing!

Monster hunter is my to go game. It has tons of content and is fun to play.

ooh I do hear you there! my first MH experience is Worlds and my favorite is Odogaron!
FU was my first, that game kicked my ass for a bit. My favorite game is probably 4u, but I prefer the bowguns and bows in generations. My favorite monster is malfestio.

nice!!! I solo'd MHWorld with a Glaive and omg Barioth was a NIGHTMARE to deal with in iceborne!
glad my Palico has better speed and brains then the troops in HW:L!

i tried with a savegame mod online... maybe that works for you
I found a offline one that helped for fairy foods! which online one do you mean? can you link it to me please? and does it let you make the allies more useful?
