Yeah I feel like Nintendo doesn't even know what their own systems are capable of. I use the HD textures, and 60 FPS mod.thanks! works great for me on my v1 Switch besides previously mentioned windows in the Director's Lab, no frame drops either
which 60fps mod u use? cuz my pokemon moves are bugged for example, i use surf the wave not even reach the opponents or like bullet seed and water shuriken, they not even 5 times only 1 time...Yeah I feel like Nintendo doesn't even know what their own systems are capable of. You have to be able to maintain 55+ FPS for the moves not to lockup like that.which 60fps mod u use? cuz my pokemon moves are bugged for example, i use surf the wave not even reach the opponents or like bullet seed and water shuriken, they not even 5 times only 1 time...
Unfortunately that's a current issue with the 60FPS mods (multi-hit moves hitting once, shortening of attack animations/general attack jankness) as well as some Battle Royale issueswhich 60fps mod u use? cuz my pokemon moves are bugged for example, i use surf the wave not even reach the opponents or like bullet seed and water shuriken, they not even 5 times only 1 time...
that's only with the dynamic FPS mod, the Static 60 FPS mod works fine, you just get some slowdown if you drop below 60 FPS, no physics or move use issues.Unfortunately that's a current issue with the 60FPS mods (multi-hit moves hitting once, shortening of attack animations/general attack jankness) as well as some Battle Royale issues
We'll keep an eye out for when there is an update to the dynamic 60fps mod. It probably is the best to at least disable it during the nightly battles because there are issues of falling out of the map. But for general playing, it's pretty solidAh, okay! thank you for mentioning the issues! i will play on 30fps then haha
I use the static 60FPS Mod, and have my switch overclocked to the max.that's only with the dynamic FPS mod, the Static 60 FPS mod works fine, you just get some slowdown if you drop below 60 FPS, no physics or move use issues.
This is the newest link as the original got deleted.Link dead?
can you also fix the lab textures with the window in the elevator being bugged out?How do we find the original title menu in the first place to replace the edited one? I did everything you said and I'm at the part where I found the "grptext_title_logo_00^u.dds" with the two options "Export" and "Replace" but I don't know where to find the original title screen to swap it.
Edit: I fixed the title screen by just opening the HD mod folder -> romfs -> ui -> data -> title_menu folder and renaming the "title_menu_00_eng.arc" to "title_menu_00.arc" and the original "edited" title screen file to "title_menu_00_eng.arc" (just have the two files named after the other/swap names so the "eng" is now the default one). No Switch Toolbox needed
Here's a ui folder replacement for anyone who already has the 4K mod downloaded and don't wanna edit/modify the Title Menu files manually. Just add the folder inside the "romfs" folder and replace the UI folder.

Hope this helps
I've been interested in attempting some texture edits myself. When I extracted romfs though, the folders were just arc, audio, and system. Are the .bntx files inside the data.trpfs files? I just tried the Tree View in Trinity Mod Loader, and that's showing avalon, script, system_resource, and system folders, unsure if they're in there somewhere.Used Toolbox to edit the .bntx file img that's used for the research lab window. I tested it out on my switch and it works no issues as far as I can tell.
I also couldn't really pin down the issue with the texture for the elevator. I did find the directory or texture it used but it didn't really want to work. I think it might have something to do with needing the other files for it to show. So I just used the original textures in place of it. It's not really a fix but it looks better now at least to me.
Just extract it and drop it in the directory.View attachment 535481View attachment 535482

Had fun figuring all this out so I figured I'd share a little Halloween spirit.
Not sure if it effects other walls or models in the game but the wall textures I overwrote were for the research lab.
Works just like the other ones, open up the zip and drag and drop it into the directory.
Happy Halloween!

Oh and one last thing if you're interested because it's optional. I changed the main start menu to fit the theme a bit. It's not the best edit but it's pretty neat.
Just do what you did with the other files by extracting the folder and dropping it into your directory.

Yeah I had that same issue not too long ago until I realized that I needed to download a couple other files to put in the trinity folder that helps it read and open the files correctly.I've been interested in attempting some texture edits myself. Thank you! That seems to have done it, tons more folders are visible in Tree View, so I can extract em all and see what's whatYeah I had that same issue not too long ago until I realized that I needed to download a couple other files to put in the trinity folder that helps it read and open the files correctly.
Try dropping these into your trinity folder and see if it helps.
If it loads correctly then go ahead and extract the folders you want to edit or just do like I did and extract the entire game.
Just keep in mind that if you extract the entire thing it'll be like more than 2 times the size.
The game originally is like 4.1 gbs in size but once it's uncompressed and extracted it'll be around 12 gbs or close to it.
Did you manage to solve this ? it also crashes for me.Too many crashes on my end. I just can't get this to work.
I'm using Ruijinx Canary 1.3.173
I tried deleting my Shader Cache, expanding DRAM to 12GiB, lowering the Resolution Scale. Didn't matter.
Care to share what settings you're using because I'm at a loss.
I like it bro. thanks.Used Toolbox to edit the .bntx file img that's used for the research lab window. I tested it out on my switch and it works no issues as far as I can tell.
