So lately i was trying some homebrew on my old NDS Phat (with a broken top screen btw), i don't have any kind of flashcard but the console already have FlashMe installed, so by using some homebrew on a Wii i can load homebrew on the DS using the DLP (DownLoad Play) protocol, but is there any way to execute GameBoy(Color) ROMs with this method ?
Like by "converting" a *.gb/c ROM to a .nds (like the Goomba emulator does for gb to gba) and keep it under 4MB so we can load it into the NDS RAM and play games (even if saving doesn't work) ?
Thanks for the help :3

The Wii DS ROM sender already has this feature incorporated. You just need to put the GB/GBC or Famicom/NES ROM dumps in the the program's folder, alongside the NDS/SRL files, and it will automatically detect them and bundle them into a Gameboy emulator for the DS on demand. I've used this feature many times.

OH REALLY??
That's so great !!!
I will try that now, but does it have issues (like lags or some games not working)? I know saves won't work because there is no storage but anything else is fine, right ?

NES/Famicom games look funny on the DS, since the DS doesn't have enough screen resolution to display them natively. Other than that, I don't remember any issues. Gameboy games are flawlessly playable, and the emulator also has a simple configuration menu when you press either L or R. With games like Tetris and other save-less games, the lack of save file function is nothing to worry about. Of course I don't know if it works correctly with every single game, since I've only used it with a few that I have.
