Would it trigger by completing a random research task?
Possibly? It wouldn't help folks who only have that research task left though. I'm working on converting the HEAP address I have into a code first before testing methods of forcing the research to update.

I was testing the 2.5x game speed cheats and I noticed that in combat when launching long-distance movements the pokemon starts to spin and does not aim at the rival pokemon, this is because the speed required for the attacks not to fail is 1x, 1.99x and 2x speed, I was investigating and the way to correct it would be to find the player's movement speed multiplier code to make a hybrid cheat with the game speed + speed multiplier code
Have you find the solution for this?? Im facing the same issue

Not sure if this can be enabled with a cheat, but I discovered that using Nvidia Inspector's driver LOD Bias settings, you can get a bunch of reflections added into the game, so they must exist in the files somewhere.

Found with Ryubing 1.3.179 OpenGL mode.

so im currentlly installing the pokemon setup on my laptop. what about save files? could i possible trade with myself? copy my save file?

Is the mega dimensions dlc playable rn on emulator or its just for the users to install ... Im currently halfway through the story and im curious about this

Yes, you can.

No, it doesn't come out until Feb I think. The DLC available now are the outfits.

The DLC install is only to unlock outfits in the game at the moment. The DLC game content won't be available until next year.

That is interesting, the bricks being shiny doesn't seem like an intended look, but the truck being shiny kind of looks good, I wonder if it was something they considered in development and then turned it off due to performance.

One thing I find strange about modded Switch games on emulator is how mods rarely ever seem to mess with improving LOD and Draw Distance, which are the big things you'd want, visually.

Yeah that would work too.
Are you sure Legends Z-A is already supported for PC <-> Hacked Switch in Ryubing? I'm trying to connect them, but no success...

It also looks like water reflections are improved over OG as well. I'm wondering if this is somehow 'leftover' from the Switch 2 version of the game.

Oh ok thanks for clarifying, also is there any mod for player speed that does not affect pokemons in battles or encounter... Like the cheat im using in ryunbing makes the pokemon flutter and spin that makes it hard to attack the opponent because of that ... The spin makes the pokemon lose its direction.

Also to clarify, this doesn't make EVERYTHING shiny and reflective; Pokemon and characters seem unaffected, stone pavers seem to vary between mid reflectivity and none, windows, cars, and water have very sharp reflections in them.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess this game was originally going to be Switch 2 Exclusive and then at some point in development they were told to make it cross-gen, which means that it also must have a certain level of parity with the Switch 1 version. Hence the Switch 2 version just kind of looking like a smoother version of the same mess.

just wanted to say thank you for helping me out!
trading works, i never expected that

(pc to laptop, both emulators ryujinx canary, same version firmware everything)

Traded pokemon using 2 Ryujinx, super slow cause my laptop only has 8gb ram. I used same save file for 2 profiles. Only used 1 pair of joycon, preferably need 2 joycons or rather use keyboard for the 1 profile I think. Before this, I tried the trade via modded switch to ryujinx but unsuccessful.

How can I search here the cheat for the 1000 battles won, saw that but I forgot to save it. And if there is a cheat for the mega shard collected mable research. Thank you

Playing a bit more, it looks like some outfits and Pokemon pull higher resolution textures with a negative LOD bias set. Someone smarter than I am could probably figure out a cheat to enable these without a driver-level setting. Who knows how it would run on an OG Switch though.
