Hi there,
is there a way to either cheat the link code research, emulate trades or get myself the shiny charm? I grinded all the way to lvl 46 but from the few missions left i dont think its possible without trading... which isnt possible as far as i can tell

I ran into the issue of not having link trades available on emulators, thus not being able to complete the last stages of mables research. i dont mind putting a grind in it, but i dont think its possible to reach lvl 50 without? Is there a way to cheat either the link trade research, research points in general or just obtaining the shiny charm?

Thanks. Unfortunately I do not have a gyro controller... guess I'll just have to use a cheat to catch the evolution then... Just a bit dissatisfying tho.

Yeah that works too. Ryubing to hacked switch. Ryubing to Ryubing. Real unhacked switch to Emulator = No

"Hacked consoles can use both LAN and ldn_mitm. To connect with unhacked consoles, the game needs to include a LAN mode. At the time of writing, only a handful of games support LAN mode on Switch; if the game you’re playing is not one of them, you can’t connect them to an unhacked Switch yet. It may become possible in the future."

And about a hacked switch with another hacked switch online via a LAN simulation? I don't think my PC could run well Legends Z-A

I have a hacked switch and a switch 2, using them to pin down the research values now.

I think if you trade from hacked switch to hacked switch you have to be on the same network.

I have a question why on citron the cheat works and when i try it on ryubing cabary it doesn't,

and what is the restore code for?

Restore code is to restore what done in memory, to reverse change. I don't use emulator.

just read this. Sorry could u elaborate on how I need to proceed? I downloaded the canary version, it runs well. I have the code and the pokemon. I havent played pokemon except the first 2 pokemon lol

Granted these instructions are a bit outdated but the gist applies. Then just trade like you would normally by going to link play>Link trade>local

So I found the value for number of Pokemon evolved via trading, however it looks like the research task doesn't auto complete when modified like this :/

A few things I found out about Link Trade :

1. Link Trade works even when "Enable Guest Internet Access" is ON, but also when it's OFF, not sure if this option even does anything for this game.
2. I did the trades between my laptop and my pc, both were 1.0.0, so 1.0.1 is not required.
3. Both laptop and my pc had firmware 20.5.0 installed, so you don't necessary need 20.1.5
4. Obviously Canary 1.3.179 or higher is required (1.3.3 won't work).

Yeah the update isn't required, both games just need to be the same version. And there isn't a required firmware per se, I just offered what worked for me Lol
