Emulation Pokemon Legends ZA: Pokemon no longer spawning

I've been playing Pokemon Legends Z-A through Ryujinx for a while now (about 45 hours so far). It's been mostly okay save for a few crashes here and there. Earlier today, however, the game crashed and when I reopened it as usual, Pokemon stopped spawning. I've tried everything I can think of: waiting until day/night, going into various buildings or the sewers, progressing story some, defeating all the Pokemon (they don't come back), resetting the game, resetting Ryujinx, having a friend try the save file... Nothing works so far. Any advice or help would be welcomed. Not sure what to do anymore. Is the only option to start over?

It's always a possibility. If more people starts reporting this or similar problems, then we'll know for sure.

I guess we shall see as people play the game more. Makes me wonder. I really hope there's a solution to this (or a way to avoid this situation in the gameplay experience). If not, I guess that's just how that goes. Do you know if people experienced similar things with past Pokemon games?

Well, the Gen 5 games had antipiracy where if they detected no response from the cartridge's IR sensor (in other words, a flashcart/poorly-coded emulator), your Pokémon couldn't gain experience points...

How far do the backups go? Are there specific saves you can pick from somehow?

Probably one of the recent save, when the main save fail you can use the backup to attempt to fix it.

I’m having this problem, and also not having hyperspace spots spawn either.
