I play on a modded Switch, but only in offline mode.
Is there any way to evolve Pokémon that normally require online trades? I don’t want to download a complete save file, since that would take away from the experience and fun of the game.


I don’t have any experience with this program.

The best way is having another nearby switch, modded or not, to trade with you, which doesnt require internet connection, just two switches put near each other.

Other ways are waiting or requesting somebody to make mods/code to evolve those Pokemon without trade, however, evolving like that might not be counted as trade evolution in record for Mable's research rewards.

Another way is edit save files using Pkhex when it properly supports Legends ZA. However, it will be like modifying your existing into another Pokemon, rather than actual evolving it.

I'm in the same boat as you. I also only play on a single modded switch only in offline mode and have the same question for marble's trade evolution quest. And I also don't want to download a complete save for the same reason as you. I don't have enough money to buy another switch and nor am I going to buy another switch just for one game.

I don't think anyone is keeping a compiled list of which cheats work, which one's work on hardware, which one work on emulators, which work on both etc.

You'll just have to kind of collect them around yourself and see what does or doesn't. Just keep a save backup.

do someone have a code for masterball and rare candy which doesnt bug the game? my rare candy cheat i use doesnt work and the masterball one bugs the game (i cant use any ...game says i dont have any pokeballs but i do have)

You might've turned on your [Items not decrease] cheat on, you can't get items with that cheat on

i had that on and i cant get the laboratory card now is there any fix for it

No, you'll need to wait for a cheat or a PKHeX update.

i am on a modded switch but i think i just figured out how to add the codes finally

It will fail legitimacy check, where you can't take it online

Pkhex is just a save editing tool, it come down to legality check for the pokemon, of course a spawn ecnounter pokemon would be count as illegal so you can't take it online

You do realize the very first post in this entire thread is exactly that, a collection of codes so it's def possible someone has one. I would just prefer one that has codes that won't kill my save lol

pkhex will let you know if a pokemon is legit or not after editing, there will be a red caution symbol on the pokemon.

Save PLZA postgame

Its been a hot minute since ive restored a save, just updated everything yesterday and im getting back into the swing of things. How do I restore this in JKSV? I copied the zip file over to the ZA folder and im getting "back up contains no meta file" another time i made a back up using my own file, replaced it with the .main file and tried loading the game but it came up giving an error code. I feel very defeated today with all this and cant figure it out
