So, no response the question huh. Typical.

"whataboutism" isn't a valid defense/dismissal of hypocrisy, megabrain.
Call me whatever you want, but you're not asking relevant questions, so I'm calling you out on that. Got a problem with that? You're just trying to shift the attention away from things that make your kind look bad. If you had a point, I'd gladly admit that, but you just think you have to do some damage control by finding ways in which you make it seem like a lesser evil than it actually is. I didn't start defending anyone and I have no idea who that person you talked about is, so of course I wouldn't answer your irrelevant question. I don't have to care, because what are you gonna do if nobody endulges in your dreamt up argument? Go cry about how nobody wants to play your stupid games? :D

Anyway, I'm getting a little tired of playing the foil for all this pent up hate and frustration. So I'll be around on the site, but probably not here much. Enjoy the bubble.
Nobody likes to eat crow, but you and the other boomers were warned countless times. You chose to let tribalism override all logic and sense anyway, and at this rate we'll need Germany to invade the US to help rid us of the fourth reich.

JD Vance is defending this based on the bullshit "boys will be boys" argument and that these are "just kids" and we shouldn't be ruining people's lives over what they say as "kids". Motherfucker, these grown-ass men are in their 20s. If you're old enough to drink, hell, if you're old enough to go to war, you're old enough to face serious consequences for saying stupid shit.
If 13 year is old enough to be deported by ICE, 20 is old enough to face consequences for posting nazi shit.

Agree

Anyone surprised? Isn't MAGA just a re-brand of the KKK? Those people are racist, homophobic, misogynists peaces of s**t, and they really never try to deny it.

You country is ruled by the modern version of the Nazi party. Almost everyone on the current GOP is either like a neo-Nazi or at least they simpatize with them.

One of them is 31. Their definition of "Young" is all the way up to 40. But when the GOP has old fossils like McConnell who stroke-out on camera, 31 is a child.

Hana isn't here to have a good faith discussion. They're unwilling to clarify their stances, and are just smart enough to not cross the line and get their account banned like the rest of the MAGA losers no longer here

Nailed it. There's no room for "privacy" in political debate.
A person who refuses to state their views, has something to hide.

I have stated my views on this board many, many times. Seltzer's problem is I won't give him the satisfaction of walking into a trap.

Once more, with feeling .... I'm a fiscal conservative libertarian. As for Constitutional law, I'm a strict constructionist. If you understand those terms, you'll understand why I staunchly oppose the Democratic party and end up begrudgingly voting for Republicans more often than not, in national elections. It isn't because I support the GOP platform. It's because I prefer getting kicked in the shin to getting kicked in the nuts.

And FWIW, I am still registered Democrat. Lets me vote in the Democratic primary, which for local elections (city, county, state) still matters to me, because I know quite a few of those who run for office in my backyard. I donated $100 to a Democratic candidate for my county's Prosecuting Attorney last fall, because I felt he was the better person for the job. Anyone else here do that??

And why did I ever register as a Democrat in the first place? Because I once worked somewhere that would check their employees' voter registration, and if it wasn't Democrat, they'd fire you. Of course they were smart enough not to say that was the reason, but everyone knew.

I really don't want to start a new thread for this, but Trump just released George Santos from jail. Why? Because he kissed the ring.

Jesus fucking christ the US is the worst! You had this guy go to jail who was caught doing all sorts of fraud and even stole a dog from a wounded veteran. It was the lowest bar set for a politician getting in trouble for being the worst type of human being. But you guys couldn't even keep that POS in jail!

Without a doubt in my mind, Trump is winding up to let Maxwell out of prison. What an absolute shitshow of a country!

"I've stated my views, I just haven't said how much I hate (insert slur here) because I'd be banned for it".
It isn't because I support the GOP platform.
And yet you jump to their defense at every opportunity and think every new thing the Trump administration does is a great thing for this nation. You don't get to decide whether you support them or not. You voted for them, you defend them, you deliberately spread misinformation to "own the libs", you support the GOP platform.

If you owned it instead of carrying yourself as a poor misunderstood "classical liberal" maybe people here wouldn't find you so despicable.

It ultimately doesn't matter whether you're registered Democrat or not. Both the Democrats and the Republicans are on the right. It's just that the Republicans are far, far, far right.

You frame this as if businesses who support Republicans would never do such a thing.

Bullshit. Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. But pursuing happiness doesn't mean you're entitled to enforce a fiction on others and their behavior/beliefs. So the one area where I run into severe disagreement here is wrt: transgenders. Sorry. I don't care and will defend someone's choice to dress and pretend to be what they want to be, As they say, it's a free country. But that means free for me, too.. So don't expect me to agree that doing so actually changes that person into something they're not.

This is just untrue. I will sure reply when I see someone clearly doesn't understand the law but pretends they know it all. "Unconstitutional" gets thrown around a lot by people who have no fucking clue.

You frame this as if businesses who support Republicans would never do such a thing.

I can only speak to my own first-hand experience. And I didn't 'frame' anything, or insinuate anything like what you said. (Who's the disinformation poster child here???) If you've worked somewhere where you get warned in your first week that if you're not registered Republican you'd better change it quick, cuz they're gonna give you a little grace period and then check, tell us about it.

That goes both ways. You are not entitled to enforce other peoples' behavior and beliefs, and that includes transgender people. You are not entitled to encroach on peoples' human rights related to their identity. There are no exceptions. You have either all, or none. Again: own your bigotry instead of this bullshit where you're framing it as perfectly logical and lawful within the Constitution. People here would still hate you, but at least everything would be out in the open.

This you?
I'm not here to "debate" at all.
You frame yourself as the smarter-than-thou educated American but the moment someone blows apart your argument, you fall back on the "I'm just trolling" bit. You're the most manipulative motherfucker on this entire forum.

"I didn't imply that! But also prove it because I don't believe you."

You fucking clown.

My political leanings are not engaging trolls and keeping on topic.

Unfortunately no candidate is campaigning on those things.
