Running Mint on my desktop now. Learnt how to customise my icons and applets. Also remembered I have a huge crush on Natalie Dormer.

Switched to Nobaro and using KDE yesterday from Mint. Still working on making it pretty but so far have been v.happy with this distro.

Nice! What plasmoid do you have next to your Application Launcher? I assume that's a media player? It doesn't let me put the default Media Player plasmoid on the panel.

I just used the default media widget and dragged it to the panel.

Just updated it to look like this:

The album art is the default media widget. The one with the controls widget is called Media Controller for Panel. Having two widgets sound silly but want direct access to media controls and art.

Ah, my mistake. It seems the panel was bugged and restarting plasmashell let me add plasmoids again.

FYI, if you want to remove the one in the tray, you can right click the little chevron on the far right, click Configure System Tray, then under Entries, find Media Player and disable it.
