Usual places. Apparently Galaxy 1 has some improvements compared to the 3D All-Stars version, but also you can import your save from that version using the usual save tools.

I gather the following applies to both games, I've only installed Galaxy 2 as I played the 3DAS version of 1. Base game "requires" 20.something (.3 maybe?) according to the meta files, but can be repacked to work on 18.x (mine's still on 18.1 and Galaxy 2 base installed fine with DBI and opens fine, after patching with renxpack via Switch Army Knife), day one patch may actually require 20.x but I haven't seen that yet, might not be available until release day I guess.

Ah, right. I forgot that these are the leaks, no wonder i wasn't able to find updates anywhere. :D It's good to see that they've made some additional improvements to the first game, making the one included in the All Stars edition somewhat inferior to it.

Tried installing using DBI, get a weird spinning circle image for both of them. DBI said they installed correctly, currently on 20.4.0.
For those who got them working, what method did you use to install please? Do II need to update my DBI version? Anything else to try?
Thanks.

It should work with the latest Russian release of DBI. Did you ever isntall the unofficial 810 version? Maybe you run into an issue where DBI stopped working correctly which the developer intentionally placed into the app? Also ake sure that you have up-to-date sys-patch (or sigpatches?) and that you have a valid dump. There are original XCIs and converted NSPs floating around so see which one works for you. If DBI isn't working for you, I'd suggest that you check sphaira, worked fine so far for me (installed a couple of games via MTP installation without issue). Make sure that you run sphaira in full RAM mode, enable emuMMC in Install Options (or sysMMC, whichever one you're using), MTP in Network Options before or after you connect your Switch to the PC and, finally, run the MTP install under Misc. options. After that, just drag and drop files the install partition.

same problem, also in awoo I get an error.

got it to work. https://gbatemp.net/threads/sigpatches-for-atmosphere-hekate-fss0-fusee-package3.571543/
install the sys-patch sysmodule and copy the hekate_ipl config, I don't know which of those 2 fixed it.

Bit of a funny glitch I got on Ryujinx. Hopefully the games work well after release.

Yes I notice leaked games already there on internet. Both games are same old way from on Wii to Switch.

Why not play Wii games instead of Switch games will save everyone money more?

Harder to play in bed tbh

Saving money doesn't really come into it when the discussion is about pirating the game

May I ask how did you patch it? Never heard of Switch Army Knife or renxpack before, but I don't want to update to 20.x just for Galaxy 2.

Installers should have the option to downgrade the key gen required for the game, no extra tools needed. It could be called downgrade or convert to standard crypto but it's all the same deal. It allows hos to be able to decrypt the game on any fw.

This isn't the same as changing the required sys version. That's just a soft check qlaunch does when you launch a game. All installers zero that on install anyway as it's a cached value and doesn't require changing the nca at all.

Btw this won't always work as it also depends on the sdk version the game was built with. So some games (such as silksong) require the new fw version no matter what.

It worked for me on this version of DBI: https://github.com/Morce3232/DBIPatcher

On 20.5.0

By installers, do you mean programs such as awoo and DBI? I'm sure I've checked the option for ignoring minimum required firmware, and I keep getting an error when trying to install Galaxy 2.

Hmm, guess I either figure out how to downgrade the NSP or just update to 20.x. Though I don't really want to until sys-tweak is updated...

Google Switch Army Knife, download the latest version from GitHub and unpack. Google for the latest prod.keys and put it into SAK's bin directory. Run SAK, choose the "patch nsp" option, select the game nsp and press whatever the go button is called.

If you actually have the game as an .nsz instead of an .nsp then convert it to .nsp first with the appropriately named option in the SAK menu, before patching as above.

After patching it and giving me the same error on Awoo, I was losing hope. I decided to just try DBI again for the hell of it and it actually installed. Thank you so much!

My mistake ended up being using my own, old prod.keys (I tried patching it while I waited for your response). Thought those were unique for each console for some reason.
