Freedom of speech exists but mainly in your country, on the Internet you can say whatever you want but you are subject to the rules of the site you use to express yourself so I would not say that it is relevant to mention freedom of speech because here it is expressed under the rules of the forum.

I think the "debate" for some, such as there is one, is not that anyone "wants Nazis here." As you said, "No shit!" The issue is, whether someone here qualifies is the Admin's call (ultimately) and not everyone else. If you think another member's post violates this or any other rule, report it and let the mod deal with it. But non-staff members calling other members a Nazi/fascist, whether directly or by inference, should be just as bannable an offense. And it happens here all day, every day. Nobody here should be getting these immature smears thrown at them.

You've demonstrated numerous times that you don't have an issue aligning with them at the polls. And some people may not bother making a differentiation like with the Nazis at the Charlottesville rally in 2017 who marched along side "non nazis" and those "non nazis" didn't feel a need to distance themselves or condemn them. Same issue with a couple Ron Desantis rallies a few years ago.

For real, a simple yes or no question for you. Did you vote for the guy who has paraphrased Hitler on more than one occasion (and I can prove this to you again) and stated that migrants were eating pets? Did you vote for the person saying these things? It's a yes or no answer.

Let me be very clear that I am not calling you a Nazi. I am simply explaining the current situation and people are free to come to their own conclusions.

Eh, I dunno if being a Nazi should have an equivalent punishment to incorrectly calling someone a Nazi. Sounds like Roblox banning people who go after predators, I dunno if you saw the responses to that decision.

Don't get me wrong, I'd prefer it if there was a greater emphasis on just reporting to the mods rather than public accusations, but I'm also not surprised it reached that stage given how it is only fairly recently that the mods actually took a clear stance on this.

We need stronger rules on name-calling in general, just in principle, I doubt it would be enough to decontaminate this forum when what it really needs is a nuke. But I don't think name calling is as bad as being a Nazi, there's a bit of a gap.

Would you like to be mistakenly accused of being a child molester, or rapist, in a public setting? Like at your job for instance? It's slander, and it's going to mar others' perception of you even if they know it's not true. Of course calling a person a rapist or child molester is not as bad as someone actually being one (both) of those things, and the same goes for "Nazi," but there still should be accountability for attempting to smear someone else here. "Nazi" is a pretty ugly label, and certain people here love to use it against anyone who disagrees with them, for exactly the same reason. It's effective even if not true.

That's called having standards. In my book having the balls to tell insufferable people to either get sufferable or to get out, especially when money is short, is one of the most honorable things I could imagine. What are you expecting? Getting your cheeks kissed?

Besides, I doubt that nazis have contributed to the well-being of this site at all... what I observe is quite the opposite. They try to use this site as another medium to spew their bs without providing anything of substance. Sadly, that's what they always do. They already ruined meme sites for me with their constant flow of fake ragebait. Nobody cares about their complexes, but they can't stop shoving them into your face at every opportunity.

So yeah, I'm all for the bans. Free speech protects you from persecution by a state, which in itself is a good thing. But thank god the Temp is not a state and can implement house rules you have to follow. If you don't understand that concept, try going into a biker club and take a dump onto the bar. Alternatively, it might be sufficient to make use of your right to free speech and call everyone there a fat hairy manchild with a midlife crisis.

Every Nazi I’ve pointed out turned out to be a Nazi. I can’t speak for other members but I’ve had a good hit rate on this one.
I do believe people misuse the terms far too often and even jump the gun. However, an average person seeing obvious Nazism, should call it out. I don’t think you are a Nazi, even if have a lot of disagreements with you.
