How to enter in IDU mode ?

Dear All,

In order to try to diagnose a PS5 Slim with a license problem (don't know the past of this console), I'm looking to all possibilities.
The next step is trying to enter IDU mode to see if it just works.

I tried enabling the bitset in NOR located at 0x001C9600 and switching it from FF to 01 but it absolutely didn't change anything.
Any combo to enter it ?

Getting out of this mode seems known, but I couldn’t find any way to get into it.
I’ve heard of an IDU disc or USB stick, just don’t remember.

Drink enough alcohol till you've reached the 'warm fuzzy blanket' stage. Get in your vehicle and put it in drive (ignition in accessory mode without engine on) , congrats! You've entered DUI mode

On both on your PS5s slot B is active. If you want to enter IDU mode you need to change 0x001CC600 = 00 (IDU off) / 01 (IDU on)

I thought it was 0x001C9600 that needed to be switched to 01 ?
EDIT : maybe this address is for SLOT A and 1CC600 is for SLOT B ?

I’m wondering if the console i have might have been locked down in IDU mode.
Someone might have failed at modding the NOR in such a way that the software configuration in the reserved SSD is still wrongly configured // not reset to staff mode.

Managed to enable IDU mode in NOR.
Console booted up, took a little bit of time to show "User2 logged in ..." then IDU app downloaded by itself.
