In the past two months, I have been working hard for ChisLink, hoping to get rid of my dependence on burners and NDS.
Fortunately, ChisLink exceeded my expectations.
1. With only GBA and ChisLink, I can replace the games in Flashcart anytime and anywhere. Even a 32MB ROM only takes about 10 minutes.
2. EEPROM, SRAM, Flash and even Batteryless SRAM can use ChisLink to backup and restore saves.
3. Support 2.4G WiFi, you can access ChisLink and GBA via the Web.
4. ChisLink also supports custom Multiboot, which means you can directly boot RTCRead, Poké Transporter, PocketNES, etc.

(I haven't tested it with a TF card larger than 32GB, but I think it's enough)

I love ChisLink so much that I can't wait to share it with you :D

I am considering making the ChisLink communication protocol public, allowing games to access TF card, WiFi, Bluetooth through the ChisLink protocol, or developing some libraries, such as sockets, etc.
Maybe we can meet in GBA's MMORPG in the future!

Note: Currently, only EPICJOY has obtained the English version of ChisLink authorization, and other stores on Aliexpress sell the Chinese version. I'll update the store on github with my confirmation.

This is really impressive! Are you planning to release it as open-source-hardware?

I'm going to guess the base hardware is something like a ESP32 or ESP8266, I'm hoping we can get more details about your creation soon.

I will open ChisLink documentation as much as possible, but it won't be fully open sourced

This seems incredible, can't wait to see more! Will be watching this thread closely :D

That looks seriously impressive, thanks for sharing!

If you ever manufacture this do tag me, i'd be interested in one :D
If anyone is really interested, I will try to find foreign trade agents and produce more ChisLink.
Maybe it will take some time. Because I spend more time on development than sales, I hope to implement an open source MMORPG Demo as soon as possible.

On a side note - are you able to share gbcburn NDS software? Picked up a ChisFlash MBC5 4+1 but can't find gbcburn anywhere.

I collect cartridge flashers, so if you ever sell these I'll buy one.

I didn't think GBC carts could even fit in a DS or DS Lite, do you need to take the shell off, or use a cartridge extender? (I make cartridge extenders, so I have some)

At first I thought this would be some neat little DLDI app for modern flashcarts to let you flash ancient ones over the link cable. Very, very slooooooowly. (Honestly, that'd likely be best done via multiboot on Game Boy Interface)

This looks neat too, though. Not that I need it.

Looks like GBAMP's save backup tool by chishm has competition

This looks amazing.
I love it

Wait. Blutooth..
Maybe we could make good wireless link cable (Majesco's wireless adapter was ok)

This is exactly what I planned. While I'm not sure if it can be done really, I want to make an internet adapter.

Majesco's already is okayish iirc. Someone tested it on this forum once, with varying degrees of success.

I bet yours can be way better than such an old device.

(Linkport is slow anyways, but GBA's packet protocol is tricky. I think it has little patience for error)
