[HELP] N3DS XL, blue light and pop sound

I've been googling and everything point to the upper screen ribbon cable, but it doesn't look like its damaged or torn anywhere.
I took the top housing apart and it looks fine.

Ended up chucking the whole motherboard in my friends 3DS and same issue.

Ended up being the bottom screen backlight connector, as I flipped it up (which you shouldnt do) it ruined the friction connection. To fix it i had to tape it down with some kapton tape and then it finally booted.

But isn't that what you needed to do? Is to flip it up to get it to release? I'm having the same issue.
