ROM Hack [REQUEST] Tetris99 savefile with the Gameboy theme and the Splatoon theme unlocked.

Is there a particular game version this requires? Also getting stuck on the restore as it hangs and assuming it’s either a game version or the manner with which I’ve overwritten my bcat backup, etc.

Appreciate insight from anyone that’s made this work

I’ll give this a shot on 2.4. Don’t yet have the update file for 2.5 and not sure if that will require a specific firmware. Thanks again, my man!

No luck with 2.4. Will see if I can find a 2.5 update and cross the fingers. Currently have 30 themes but nothing past 30 Will resort due to bcat restore freeze shown earlier.

^I found 2.5.0, and this does fix the issue. I see all 38 special themes, with the 8 normal themes, and 3 themes that were originally bought with tickets, for a total of 49 themes.

I've been installing with the ones posted here, but the seasonal ones aren't showing up. I'd appreciate any information on how to get the themes. I have Atmosphere.

I'm going to start playing now because of the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 event and I would like to have all the themes before playing the game for the first time.

you need to make sure you have the latest update installed. the posted save worked for me it has all the normal themes plus special themes 1-38 for a total of like 50 themes the only one missing is the latest donkey kong bonanza theme which sadly i missed out on or i would upload my save

I have version 2.5.0 and I'm only getting 15 themes, plus I'm playing on the physical Tetris 99 cartridge, I don't know if that has anything to do with the problem.

i did not know there was a physical cartridge of tetris 99 and 2.50 is the latest version i would try completely deleting your game under system data managment then select delete save data once done try re injecting with checkpoint if it still does not show all themes then try injecting with jksv save manager it might work better with jksv and maybe also in jksv you could try deleting the bcat data as it could be interfering with the save the new saves dont rely on bcat but if there is old data it might cause a problem anyways once done reinject the save and boot the game and see what happens these are only suggestions i am not completely sure what is going on but i have had trouble in the past with saves for this game and always pertained to bcat data witch is where the game used to store the info for stats and unlockables with the latest version of tetris it no longer relies on bcat everything is in the save now but its possible that old bcat data could be causing a problem good luck i hope you get it working

I'm going to try what you're saying to see what happens. Do you use the save file from those published in this group? If so, could you send it to me so I can see if it doesn't have any problems with the files I have?

i used the one from post #62 it does not require bcat and works with update 2.5.0 there is however another savefile i played with that i injected with tinfoil but it is missing a bunch of themes the one from post 62 is themost complete missing only the latest theme they released which was donkey kong bonanza theme i missed out on this in august i will post the file i use as well in a seperate post here

hey just asking again would it be possible to upload a more updated save that includes the latest tetris 99 themes im sure since tetris 99 does online saving it would be possible to connect your switch back to your nintendo account and sync with switch 1 and upload the save it would be greatly appreciated thanks so much

Anyone knows about any tool to modify a Tetris 99 save file? I just wanna unlock all the themes, or just have as many points as possible to do so. Just to not have to depend on (or annoy) others, and also learning.

Playing Tetris 99 on emuCFW is a bit annoying when you have other fun things to play with, and you just find yourself with a wall. I might as well be playing 6 months in a row to get points for some of the things I'd like. That's too much lmao
