Hello,

I asked the question in the sys-screenuploader thread too, but i don't think it gets viewed often so i want to ask it here too, i hope that is okay.

Is it possible to upload a specific game’s screenshots to a specific Discord chat channel?
I tried modifying the config file, but I can't seem to figure it out.

For example:

  • Screenshots for Let’s Go should go to the Let’s Go Screenshots channel.
  • Screenshots for Legends Arceus should go to the Legends Arceus Screenshots channel.

See the attached screenshot. All the in-game screenshots I take now go to the "General" channel instead of the designated channel I created for them. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks! :)
I still haven’t managed to get this working. When someone has the time, could you please take a look at the config file?

What I’m trying to achieve is for the uploaded screenshots and videos to be automatically separated and posted in their respective game channels on Discord.

Good afternoon friends, I have a Nintendo Switch 1 revision, firmware version like 18.1.0 firmware version Ultra 2.3❘R2+E. Not so long ago, I ran into this problem. When playing in your hands, the cooler/fan is running and the temperature is in the range of 50-65. But when connected to charging, directly or to the dock for playing on TV, the cooler/fan instantly turns off and does not turn on, even when the temperature reaches 80, and an emergency shutdown occurs due to overheating.

If anyone has encountered such a problem or just knows how to fix it, please tell me!!

Currently attempting my sd card migration however Hekate says my free space is smaller than the backup size. Partial backup enabled 204b parts

Is this a worry?? Not sure i should continue!

Looks like you don't have enough space so the full backup would be incomplete.

Yeah although it does do a partial backup, it then asks to remove the sd card, move the partial backup somewhere safe, delete from card and continue. Had to do it 3 times then popped all the files at that stage together on my pc and currently putting it onto my new sd card.

My Switch folder took 12 hours to back up (bloody png files 😂) so at this rate I'll hopefully be done by 2200 then going to see Thunderbolts at 2310 🥳

@Lostbhoy how many GB did you have to transfer?
It seems strange to me that it took so long, are you sure your SD card isn't damaged?

Some questions before putting a Modchip on my Switch Lite

Here in Venezuela, I got two services. One store in City Market charges $270 for replacing the screen and installing the PicoFly mod chip, while the second one is in the San Ignacio Shopping Center. The screen replacement, fan replacement, and installation of a Hwfly mod chip costs $150. This leaves me with a question about the first one: What's the best mod chip right now? The first store says it's PicoFly, and the second store says it's Hwfly.

On the other hand, I understand there are three ways to boot the Switch after installing the mod chip with Hekate: SysNand, SysCFW, and EmuNand. SysNand is your unhacked console, and SysCFW is your SysNand with CFW capability, right? That's where you can dump your original games, updates, and DLC, right? I think even save file

Note: Prices in Venezuela are de facto dollarized.

Na, i dont have enough space on my pc (and it's older than @AncientBoi 😂) to store it so i had to put it directly on my phone. 115gb all in. Sd card to sd card is sloooooow!

Also did not think to do the folders individually to my pc then to new card which has worked a treat today... Nearly finished and about to try the restore 🤞🤞

@Lostbhoy 👌 i have a desktop that will be 20 years old in December, now i only use my smartphone and USB drives or external HDDs for storage.

Well i can declare success however i was met with the message that the sd card is from another switch or formatted before inserting or something.

It has deleted my Nintendo folder which means all my games are only icons now 😩

Any way round this using my prev Nintendo folder or is it simply DL them all again?

You can restore a backup or do a factory reset and start over

I've just done a restore but as i formatted the card in the switch beforehand apparently it thinks its from another switch so had to delete the folder. Not too fussed if DL again is only option however do I need to re install the dlc and updates also?

So I have been re adding my games since the restore however Links Awakening is the only one that gives a software cannot start error.

Really unsure why this is happening, is it to do with the prev install ticket or something? Can't seem to reinstall it from any source and have just attempted a tinfoil shop version and same error. Help!

Edit 2...

All good. Deleted the tickets with dbi and reinstalled 👍

I recently modded my switch and as I was playing a game it started screeching really loud then the screen turned orange and now it won’t turn back on at all even into stock firmware. I don’t think it’s bricked bc if I try to inject a payload without an sd card this menu shows up but nothing else gives a reaction and I’m not sure what I can do to fix it. Looks like your nyx is missing... Redo your hekate?

I had that mesage when I thought I could hot swap sd cards and the new one didn't have the files on.

and that error isnt the issue its just my reasoning for believing my switch isnt bricked

I'd been using an All-in-one pack to do firmware updates until firmware 16. Injected payloads from desktop app after putting switch into RCM.

I hadn't touched it for a while since then, and now I'm trying to update to 19, but the person that did those packs doesn't do them anymore. I'm trying the assemble it myself, Atmosphere, Hekate, etc, but all the guides I'm finding keep saying things like "you can't use sigpatches in Atmosphere anymore" or "you need a special secret fusee.bin" or "install syspatch now" and all these other warnings or suggestions. None of them seem to suggest using the USB payload injection method either.

I don't fully know what I've been using up to this point, I just know what the files were named and where they went.

So my basic question: has anything changed substantially in this whole process from the time of firmware 16 until now? Are there pitfalls I need to be aware of?

Having an issue with one of my switches. USB transfer dies out after a very short time using hekate with "ERROR: EP Out Transfer." followed by "Disk ejected".

I thought it was the sd card so I'm using a new one (verified several times over for fakes) and went through the initial setup, but when I plug it into my pc, I get the "This drive needs to be scanned" issue again. This is not the emummc partition (E), this is the sd card (F) This doesn't happen with my two other switches.

It used to transfer with tinwoo/ns-usbloader but, not so much anymore. Same issue with DBI, too.

Is it the switch, the sd card port? I can't even delete anything from the sd card when it's plugged into the switch to usb, just dies with the same error.

@impeeza wrote a nice guide for updating. You should check it out. Avoid any all-in-one packs.

I've read that guide, but the instructions are different from what I've been doing in the past. It talks about a syspatch that I've never needed before, and it says to boot the system "as usual"l after replacing the SD card, but I've never done that. I've always booted using TegraRCMGUI and fusee.bin via USB. It doesn't even talk about fusee.

(I saw on another guide I needed a special version of fusee or something because fusee - primary doesn't exist?)

I'm just trying to avoid breaking things that have already been installed and are working fine. I'll follow that guide, I'm just trying to understand the differences between what's its telling me to do and what I've been doing in the past before I do anything. Has something changed since 16 or is this a different method entirely? Does fusee not work anymore?
