I installed Bad Update and some games, everything works flawlessly. However, title updates do not. I installed them to my USB drive in \Xbox360\System\Usb0\Cache (I don't have an HDD) and when I press Y on a game in Aurora I can see the title update and even enable it. But even though I do that, when I press the Xbox button and see the TU in the bottom right it still says 0.

The title updates are downloaded from No-Intro. I haven't tried Xbox Unity because they don't have them.

Any help would be appreciated.

Title-Updates must be Yes or Yes on the console's Internal HDD.

If you don't want to buy an official HDD, you can use a Western Digital one and flash it on your PC as if it were original.
I can give you the tutorial if you want. I have a 4GB Slim Winchester motherboard, and it worked perfectly for me.

I see, I'll get an HDD then. Can you link the tutorial? Also, why do they show up and give me the option to toggle them even though they won't work? I also tried copying them to OnboardMU but had no luck. SO I guess HDD it is, then. Thanks.

Here's the tutorial I followed.
You can find the tools in the tutorial itself.

how about a text tutorial instead

I gave up on Bad Update so I tried it on my RGH Xbox with an HDD, but even when storing it on one I can't get it to work. It shows up, and I can enable it, but it still doesn't work. I have it on Hdd1/Content/0000000000000000/TITLE_ID/000B0000

I use Bad Update and have no problems with Title Updates.
I download them from Aurora itself.
And for those that aren't in Aurora, I manually search for them on my PC and use 360 Content Manager 3.0 to create the exact path where they go. Then I transfer them to a USB drive using Aurora's File Manager.
I restart Aurora and run a Title Update Scan.
I hope this helps.

Here you see the Correct Route :

Create the same directory on a Fat32 USB drive and then copy them to HDD1 using Aurora's File Manager.
You can also copy them using the Original Menu Manager in the Storage section.

Concerning the first post:

When you first load it, it moves the title updates to its own folder and away from the proper location on the HDD. I cannot stand this feature which is why I only use it for xefu spoofer or using cheats 'trainers' with Xbox 360 games.
