Did the GC Controller Code help at all for this? You figured anything out? Also, you might need to take a look at the metafortress patch as well. As it's required to run the code
I figured out their approach used read_kpad_button (wiimote input processing symbol) But it also uses other confusing values i havent been able to figure out. We need Vague Rant’s help for this but he has been inactive :(

Probably moved on lol

Or somehow find UnclePunch and crediar the creators of the code

Unclepunch has retired sadly. and I have no idea who crediar is

EDIT: Someone on the kirby air ride hack pack discord can prob help out. Go do a bit of googling I guess for it. I doubt I can send it here

Is there any way to enable a Classic Controller hack for Metroid Prime Trilogy or Metroid Prime 3?

No way. That would be TOO difficult to do
Although it is theoretically possible you would need IR depth for unlocking doors and other stuff. Too much motion controls. Motion is the hardest of these hacks. Also it generally is fundamentally different from GCN sadly so it wouldnt control as well. Its just too complicated

Hello. First of all, I would like to thank you for the initiative to create these new codes. They made me try out some great Wii games that I would have been unlikely to play otherwise due to the motion controls... I would also like to suggest some games that I think would work well with the classic controls:

1- Far Cry
2- GodFather
3- Scarface
4- Neopets
5- Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (1 and 2)

P.S. Sorry for any typos. I'm from Brazil, and I used an online translator to make this post.

For anyone else who wants to make a VC Inject of Cars: Mater-National Championship, it needs Force Classic Controller or else it will say you need to connect a Nunchuck.

@Vague Rant hey mate. I tried the Donkey Kong Country Jungle Beat code but it didnt work for me. Tried it on both the USA and PAL version. The issue was the same on both regions. When my classic controller is hooked and I launch the game it only shows a black screen. If the controller is not connected and I launch the game it shows the title screen and everything seems normal. As soon as I connect my classic controller the game just freezes (the whole system freezes tbh) and I have to cold reboot it.
Im playing on my Wii and launching the game and code through USB Loader GX. What could be the issue? Any settings in USB Loader GX?
This is so far the only classic controller code that doesnt work for me (Warioland and DK Country Returns works fine of the games i have tried so far).

Hi, i am sad to report i will not be making any more hacks for now.

At this rate i am unsure of how legally feasible this is. Turns out the guide to make one is probably legally questionable because it includes nintendo SDK functions! (KPADRead, etc)

I might remove my codes aswell because of this. And the video guide.

Sorry.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii
Is there something to download to try out the hack or is it something we need to do manually? Had a good read through your post and can't seem to find any installation instructions...

They don’t make these hacks anymore, sorry
I imagine there are others who might be able to take the reins though...?

I mean, depending on how difficult it is, I might even be able to have a go at it myself (with guidance/support).

It’s…. right here
I see a list of codes, but no instructions as to what to do with those codes. More information is needed...

Sigh

Dolphin has a cheat loader if you right click your game dump and go to properties then gecko codes
OR use usb loader GX and load your cheats there
Create a .GCT at mkwii.com/gct

Let's just say it's complicated. You can look at the tutorial for a cc hack with the game rhythm heaven fever on page 5.
And who knows, maybe you will become the next Vague Rant?!

You're certainly not the first or the last to ask this question, because it's not that intuitive. So I don't know why everyone is so against helping you. For UsbLoaderGx you need to create a txt named [gameid].txt, of course without the bracets and the game id of the game. Inside the txt the structure is like this:

[gameid]
Name of the Game (EU/USA)

Name of cheatcode
04636273 74930302
74737363 63849403
...

Name of cheatcode
0363628 63930303
6384838 03736362
...

After that you can go inside of Usbloader Gx and choose the codes you want to use and create your .gct file. This has the advantage that you can always add new codes. To use the codes of yours you need to activate Ocarina in the settings of Usbloader gx (game specific or global)

Edit: If you want to learn how to make these codes you have to look through this thread. Vaguerant always tried to document as much as possible
