Thanks for your responses. Finally I found the problem. Recently I changed the pendrive I used for a 2,5" usb external Western Digital hard disk. It works well with almost all plugins, except all that ones I listed yesterday. I tested the new release of the pack with the old pendrive and it's working again.
It's a strange behaviour. I also tried to use the hard disk unplugging the usb ethernet adapter that I use in the upper usb port, but it's not working either.

Oh!! I find it strange that a Western Digital external hard drive has compatibility issues. Assuming you haven't forgotten to format it in fat32 with Allocation unit size at 32k, it might be a good idea to check the cIOS (syscheck), as RunningSnakes suggested. How much capacity is the drive?

From what I understand, the WD My Passport is a good brand and model, and 512GB is a capacity that doesn't usually cause compatibility issues. It's really rare.
I also don't see anything problematic in your syscheck that specifically explains the problem with the drive, although it would be good to follow RunningSnakes' advice to avoid future problems in other areas. How do Wii games work? What version of Wiiflow Lite are you using?

Yes, WD hard drives are usually boss. I have and use 3 "My Passports" hdd (1TB) and 2 (2TB) without issues.
I have an old 512 Seagate that still works after 15+ years of Wii homebrew use, so i would also recommend that brand as well.
Obviously HDD's will all fail at some point but some definitely have a better track records than others.
I think properly ejecting HDD from PC has a huge roll in lifespan but using these on Wii (where there is no way to properly power down) will cause corruption and loss of longevity.
It does really help to have a HDD with a power source opposed to the straight USB plug in. To help (i think) to avoid issues with straight USB plug in HDD's with Wii, i always power down my Wii(s) before i unplug the HDD from the Wii USB port.
It also helps to be very lucky, my old Seagate has seen it all, besides being dropped.

Apparently, the Wii games boots without problems (not tested in depth). I'm using the last version of Wiiflow lite with Tetsuo Shima's Rhapsodii Shima 5.5.4 theme.
I'll update the softmod in the next days and I'll comment the results. Again, thanks for your help!
Is there a recurring issue when launching a game on Wiisxrx? But using Wiiflow? The games launch without any issues if I run them through the Homebrew Channel, but not through Wiiflow. I'd like to have everything on Wiiflow, but if it's not possible I understand.

Very possible your WiiSXRX settings.cfg is causing conflict.
In dev:/wiisxrx folder, first backup the settingsRX2022.cfg file then delete/remove it.
Now start Wiiflow Lite and launch any PS1 game using either WiiSXRX or WiiStation emulators and it should boot correctly
The cfg needs to be generated by launching through WIiFlow Lite. Let me know if this fixes your issue please. If it does not, let me know if you are using SD/USB, SD/SD or USB/USB.

There's a cfg file that says configurations, but it's not called the same as the one you mentioned. I did everything you told me and unfortunately it didn't work.
What always happens is that I select the game in Wiiflow, the emulator appears for a second saying "autobooting game", then a black screen and nothing else. I checked the SD (that's where I have the emulator and the games) and no cfg file was generated.
In Wiiflow when you select a game it starts automatically, right? At least that's been my experience with the rest of the emulators in Wiiflow. I started the emulator with Homebrew, but it doesn't give me problems there, I can play without problems. I'm using Wiisxrx just in case.
I don't know if you can think of anything else, if not, don't worry, thanks anyway.

I have an idea but I don't know if it's really useful.
I don't have the latest version of Wiiflow, I have version 5.5.4 (the second to last), the latest version says "fix for 'auto' game IOS option. in v5.5.4 'auto' causes the game to use a d2x cios base 38 if you have it installed, which prevents game from booting. this fix prevents this from happening".
I don't know if this has to do with the problem or not. Is it very complicated to update Wiiflow without disconfiguring anything?

I have an SD card and a hard drive, the emulators and emulator games (PS1) are on the SD card (including plugins). B:\wiiflow\plugins\PlayStation\WiiSX_RX . Is that the plugin path? Or am I wrong?

Are your games bin/cue, chd or iso format? Im guessing they are bin/cue? 1 more question? How many games do you have in the isos folder and do you have those games in separate folders?

Bin/cue, I only have Crash Bandicoot because I wanted to try the emulator. The game is in a folder. It works with Homebrew, but not with Wiiflow. Maybe I just need to reinstall the plugins?

Sounds like everything is correct. Worth a try to reinstall plugins but from what informati you have provided, your game(s) shold be working.
By default the ps1 plugins will look for games on SD, so you are good there. You only have 1 game installed and already have it in its own individual folder, so again you are golden.
Did you make sure you only have 1 plugin selected (wiisxrx) and cleared cache. Just trying to cover all bases but still believe it is a cfg issue that is causing conflict.
I will run a bin/cue through WiiSXRX (WFL) and get back soon.
I started from a WiiSXRX clean install, meaning i removed my settingsRX2022.cfg from the wiisxrx folder and also cleaned out wiisxrx/saves folder.. i started and played Chessmaster II (bin/cue) 2 times through WFL without issue, so it is not a plugin issue unless you have a different/older WiiSXRX.dol installed in your plugins folder.
Try removing/deleting slot2.mcd and SLUS00886.mcd files from your saved folder. One or both may be causing your issue.
You said you do not have settingsRX2022.cfg file in your wiisxrx folder? Besides controlC.cfg, controlD.cfg etc...what other (cfg) files are in the wiisxrx folder. If you are playing through HB channel, then the emulator created a settings.cfg file

How do I know which plugin I have selected? Is there a section where I can select it? Or do I have to delete the plugins from the other PS1 emulators I'm not using? I'm referring to "Wiistation" and "Wiistation alt." Those are the folders in B:\wiiflow\plugins\PlayStation, next to the "WiiSX_RX" folder.
The cfg file generated is "settingsRX" when I open the emulator through Homebrew. I don't know if it's affected by the fact that it's not named the same as yours. Could you send me a link or tell me what version of Wiisxrx you installed? I'll try the things you mentioned in the meantime.

Looking at my save folder, I have "slot 2.mcd," but the other file is called "SCUS94900.mcd." I'm just mentioning all the details in case you find anything strange. I'm going to try all the options you mentioned anyway.

I suppose it could really be that I have more than one plugin selected. How do I do that? I'm no expert or anything, but that's the only thing I haven't tried. How do I do it?

Try this fix i have attached. You probably already have the WiiSXRX.dol but i included it just in case.
Drag and drop these files on the root pf your SD card and overwrite when prompted. I hope this will solve your issue. Let me know if you were successful with this fix

To select or change plugins...when you are at main PS1 game screen press B button on wiimote then press Home button.
Click "Link source buttons to plugins" Set button, scroll to and select Sony Playstation, now scroll to and select Playstation (WiiSXRX) and make sure it is the only plugin selected with a green check mark.
Press B button to get back to main PS1 game screen, press Home on wiimote and click "Reload Cache"...now you should be good to go.

Unfortunately, I'm still in the same situation. No problems in Homebrew, but a black screen when I launch the game on Wiiflow.
Something must be wrong with my Wiiflow, a plugin or the Wiisxrx version, idk. If you have another idea let me know, but if not, it's fine, you tried really hard to help me, and I appreciate it. Thanks.

I solved it (something like that) since as such, I couldn't get Wiisxrx to work in Wiiflow.
As I said before, I was using Wiisxrx (that's what the name came out in Homebrew) and nothing, 0 progress, I couldn't get it to work in Wiiflow. I was going to give up and use a Forwarder to leave it in the menu and that's it, but looking at the game compatibility list I read: "There is a new fork called WiiSXRX-2022" and I remembered that your configuration file said "2022".
I made a backup just in case, deleted the entire Wiisxrx folder in the root and in "apps", I tried it in Wiiflow and it didn't work XD.
I decided to start it in Homebrew (in Homebrew it said Wiistation now) to see if it worked and anyway continue with the original plan, it worked and it even worked better than the Wiisxrx I was using before. I made the settings as usual and closed it, I tried opening a PS1 game with Wiiflow and IT WORKED.
I don't know how many Wiisxrx forks there are, but ironically the one that was incompatible with Wiiflow said it was version 3.3 (last official version in 2022), and the other fork that DID work with Wiiflow said it was version 3.2 (updated in 2024 and the one that said "2022" in the fork name). Basically your version worked and mine didn't because we had different forks. That's why your config file said "settingsRX2022", because you had the fork that works (now mine says the same).
You probably don't remember or didn't see it, but in one of the messages I asked you to tell me what version of Wiisxrx you were using, but it doesn't matter, if you hadn't mentioned "settingsRX2022" I wouldn't have downloaded this different fork and I wouldn't have been able to fix it. Right now I'm downloading some forwarders that you published in 2021, in another post, and they work like a charm. Thank you so much for having the patience to help me and many other people over all these years, thank you very much.

Great to hear you have PS1 up and running through WiiFlow Lite.
Yes, the WiiStation fork(s) are an improvement over WiiSXRX and the settingsRX2022.cfg is for those emulators.
The settingsRX.cfg is for WiiSXRX. I completely cleaned my PS1 folders and used the latest plugins pack install and replicated your black screen issue using WiiSXRX. The fix (my old cfg files) i attached earlier worked for me and was hoping it would solve your prior issue. I'm wondering if it is because we are using different bios?
Maybe i will test different arguments to see if WiiSXRX can boot games correctly through WFL without preconfigured settings.
Yes, i have tested the waters in just about everything Wii HB related, i'm a jack of all trades but master of none. If you want to check out all my stuff, check this thread...
I truly love this thread and certainly believe others do as well. When @Tetsuo Shima had this project idea, some of us were all onboard and has turned out phenomenal.
When Tetsuo turned the reigns over to me, i was reluctant to make too many changes. After getting more aquaited with computer system setups, i quickly dismissed some quality Hexaeco emulators from the main pack.
V8-12 were split into separate downloads, according to my opinion, of what emulators/cores were best served. It was a mistake on my end since it created confusion for end users and much more work on my end.
Now, a few years later, i am going to attempt the same procedure, only wiser.
I have not cruched the numbers but believe at least 80 plugins can be removed without a dent. This will be removing many good plugins and others that serve the purpose but are generally not used.
These removals will help speed things up and fix crashing. The Complete pack will still be available but the WFL Plugins Pack Lite will be recommended.
