If it is emulated you have to master the emulator, the emulated CPU is not a real CPU, you can't do any thing that you can do with a real CPU until you have full control of the emulator and therefore the virtual CPU. No ASM hacking possible until you achieve that.

Anything before the { or [ is bad. You file has to start with either { or [ or space or CR or LF

When in doubt look at the file in hex

I use notpad++ too, it wasn't the app's fault, if you create a new file and copy and past the lines over it will work.
PS: I use windows 10. Maybe some OS create files with those bytes. It does looks like after those bytes has been put there editing the file don't remove them.

Yes, there are cheats. To use cheats, you typically need to find the cheats that match your BID #. If there isn't, then that means no cheats are available and you have to find a different version to match your game.

The search range in Breeze pointer search is limited, you can specify a big one and get to see it for the first depth but it will not be in the pointer and you have to manually put back the large offset. The reason is due to the way I define the storage. You will get a prompt telling you the limit. Use more bit for storage means run out of memory sooner. It's a trade off that I made.

I plan to add option to do pointer search as application. Running as application Breeze will have more than 10 times the memory. This limit will no longer be there but if you set a big range it will take more time to complete the search.

First of all, the code updater tool only works on ASM codes. Second of all, only the last 2 codes you listed are ASM codes. Finally, only codes that contain only lines that start with 040 are ASM codes. Anything else is not an ASM code.

Ok, I understand. Then all of the above like Character HP 10, Character Infinite Move, Character Infinite Atk Turn. All of it are what code? And is it possible for the code updater to update it?

you might be able to update the pointer cheats with edizon se or breeze, I think optantic also has video tutorials for that
 
Can someone update the Stardew Valley cheats from the latest update on the Nintendo Switch? Thanks. A cheat that allows you to change the item to whatever you want, please. 😭
