I can't seem to get the "Items Max" to work. I have Master code on. Is there a button I have to press or something like with the old code I had to hold L when picking up to get the items? I started a new save to test these so not sure if that's the problem or not.

If you have at least 1 item in the inventory when you receive the second time it goes to 999.
If you have 1 item in the inventory and use it it passes at 999

I would start with the inventory system. Find the code that add item to inventory. Find who calls it, check which gets activated when a steal happens. Trace back to when that throwing of dice happen.

If you want help from this community create a post and document your progress and hope that people read it and contribute to it. I won't be surprised that no body does but no pain no gain. If your post is readable you may get some respond, if you don't give up and refine your post and question you may get some help.

(Maybe some funcions in Breeze where I am not aware of right now) Or do you think the task is too heavy for the tool and it would be way more achievable with IDA or Ghidra? With Cheat Engine I would on each caller hierarchy level do some breakpoints and look and trace where the code flow branches when the item is successfully stealt and when the program decides to go another way and you obtain nothing or having no succeed in stealing.

You making a watch instruction on the line you mentioned where you obtain your item and you have the button "Go to Caller" (or something like that) which only works when x30 is fine. Then do another watch instruction on that caller line to get there caller (next level in the call hierarchy) and so on (maybe for more transparency afterwards writing down the addesses on the piece of paper to not get lost in the process^^) and so for and from time to time also look in the instruction gets also fired when no item is obtained by stealing.
As you mentioned you need lot's of time for the whole process and have to distinct the point of decisiion where only the steal path is triggered and then you can track down this funktion where the conditional branch will take place to make a 100% steal code.

Not likely with Breeze alone. I mean it's not impossible but with IDA pro you get to have a nicer view. With Breeze alone you have to settle with a more restricted view. Breeze is designed to capture data so I never added the option to break execution. I won't do heavy analysis of code with Breeze.

With standard IDA pro alone it is hard for you to capture data. The code of interest may not be the first so without extra tool like gen2 fork (which you can use with IDA pro without Breeze, type help on the GDB console and you will see the commands) you may not have the will power to get to code that is further down the list. When you do a watch with Breeze you may get say 30hits with some of them of very high frequency. Imagine how long before you get to the 30th entry.

As to the jump to caller you can also jump to caller on stack. You set "Next stack_check" between 1 to 5 to capture return address on stack. You use this same setting to make "go to call" choose the data captured to jump to.

To make this kind of cheat is in general not easy. ( No denying that some of the time it is easy but don't bet on it. Betting on not easy without knowing that it is actually easy is a much wiser choice ).

I would say the opposite on moonjump. Most of the time it is fairly easy, betting on easy is a good choice but you won't always win.

you can do some of gen2 menu stuff all on IDA pro GDB command line
try setw and getw.

There is no reason to not want to use Breeze if you are using IDA pro. You can Switch between dmnt and dmnt.gen2 easily using Breeze gen2 menu.

When using IDA pro let the game run, then use Breeze as you wish, when you want to use IDA pro again do a gen2 attach on Breeze and proceed to stop execution with the IDA pro button.

Alright it's not working for me. It seemed to only work on one item (strawberry crate) and none others.
Is it working for anyone else? (Might just be me.) (I'm using Save 2 if that matters)

Also the EXP. one seems broken for me too. I assume I gift an item and it them maxes the person out? (Haven't tried the old code on this.
