I finally hacked my Wii U, and it worked perfectly. Then, I hacked my vWii using the official guide. Everything worked until I installed USB Loader GX—the games wouldn’t load properly, and I couldn’t start them. After researching the issue, I found a patch in a forum post that appeared to fix the problem. However, when I started games such as Wii Party, Mario Party 9, and Wii Sports Resort, they all resulted in a black screen, even after waiting for five minutes per game.

I then changed the cIOS from 249 to 250, but the same problems persisted. Wii Sports was the only game that worked, though it had another issue: the language did not change. Although the entire console and loader are set to German, the game always starts in English, which is not a personal concern but is problematic for my little brothers.

Returning to the original issue, I also tried installing Wiiflow Lite, but encountered the same problems. I couldn’t even load the covers because it failed to initialize the network. I can’t even open the Homebrew Browser on the vWii, as it similarly fails to initialize the network (despite displaying the white internet symbol in the bottom right corner when launching the application). I installed all the hacks on a large, fast Samsung SD card, and everything worked fine on the Wii U—but not on the vWii.

Should I stick with the Wii U and install Wii games as injections using the Injector, or is it better to stay on vWii? Alternatively, are these problems fixable?

Hello,

Please post a syscheck report here.

Where are your games stored?

SD FAT32?

You can have a single external hard drive and have both Wii and Wii U games on that single drive.

Yeah my games are stored on a SD FAT32. I have gparted my SD card: One FAT32 and one NTFS (from the SDUSB guide)

Here is my Syscheck:

IIRC, you need different cIOS for SD card usage. Did you install cIOSes made for SD use?
