In my case it's mostly on my game tv stick—it has a sd card but I can't install apps on that card

I meant there was more storage on the card than on the tv stick itself and I can't transfer apps to it, only roms which are already on the card

Can't. I don't have space to buy a desktop (I wouldn't want another laptop) and I also only have 1 ssd slot in my laptop.
