The code for 6 slots works without crashing (on citron, but it crashes Ryu) on weapons/armors, however even with the code max slots on armor is still just 4. Still handy because of the weapon drop slots are 6 though.
Those slots are typically invisible so you have to ZL + scroll down to slots you can't see.
This was the pchtxt posted earlier in the thread for 6 that runs on emulators (Mod, not cheat)
So should we disable "Loot equipment Best quality" so that we get blue gear that we can add 3 slots to? Because with that enabled almost all gear is prime quality that we can only add one slot to.

Hey yall. Been playing the game on ryujinx with mods and the experience has been amazing so far. Unfortunately though I'm in chapter 5 and I did a manual save near the end of the mission. The emulator is crashing as soon as I load the game up. I did some serious testing and I found out that my settings are not the issue. When I removed my save file and started the game back up its loading no problem. I even tested out my saved files on other working emulators and it's not loading up which leads me to believe my save data is corrupted and causing my emulator to not boot the game up. Please offer me some advice on how to fix this because I do not want to have to go through the game again and have to back up my save files every time I play. Even if the manual save is corrupted at least I could try to maybe get the automated isolated idk

I'm happy to test on my Ryujinx or Citroen setups with your save to confirm and possibly resolve via transporting back to NLA or different location that may be bugging out. Just send through your zipped save file.

Noting numerous codes exist that are either similar or can conflict, and a few requests for support in terms of obtaining max slot loot, I'd offer at least what is working well for me using Citroen.
All in all the attached enables me to OHK any enemy and obtain empty 6 slot weapons and 4 slot Armor. It appears as grey/common due to lacking any exiting mods, but essentially is far more powerful gear offering full customisation.
I've been using it to farm certain high level mobs that drop the top Lv 60 Infinity grade tier ("True" tier i think was crafted only and for reference infinity grade reportedly historically is occasional via Lv60 mobs and guaranteed with Lv66+ mobs). This Tier has higher base defence and attempting to get optimal ground gear would mean going for heavy sets. I noticed Sakuraba Industries Infinity seems higher than quite a few others I've come across. Also the enemy below drops them alongside decent weapons.
Lv69 Tyrant: Necro, the Cavelord, Primordia, Drop Shaft (Vesper)
Its outright cheating ofc and this use case i appreciate is not for everyone, however its what I get enjoyment out of, even though it can mean the wider game can become significantly easy and having full empty slotted gear is not (afaik) something normally possible, particularly with Infinity Heavy tier gear.
For reference this excellent historic post details key mobs that provide the different sets and variations (Skell, Light, etc)
Finally like others have found, Armor slots often only display 1-2, however navigating down you can still attach mods which are reflected on stats and take full affect.
edit: I'm not sure btw if the Master code is required, however it works for me and doesn't seem to conflict with the other mods when used at the same time. Ryujinx also crashes often so i'm sticking with Citroen for the time being and normally run the 4K (1x), 60FPS, 2 x speed and improved LOD mods for general gameplay, and hover/jump or 255 item mods separately where needed.
Id suggest using the 255 item code and unlock all fast travel point mods. Identify where a specific resource (i.e. Bonjelium) is mined from the wiki below, transporting near to a relevant FN Site (i.e 510) and probing it with as best a mining probe you have and you'll relatively shortly get 1 to use the 255 code on.
Naturally if you already have at least 1 of a needed resource, the 255 code can just be used immediately.
Keep in mind it conflicts with a lot of other codes so only use it on its own and when needed (also I'm mostly using Citroen). I cant guarantee either that unlocking all fast travel points wont mess your game up, however so far it hasn't adversely affected mine. Just don't go crazy and limit going to areas outside the normal flow of the game. I'm enjoying the fast travel unlock to just help access areas whilst collecting White Whale debris - Also ideal for accessing straight away the Lv69 Necro tyrant for farming via the Primordia Drop Shaft if you haven't yet got a flying Skell or get the hover/jump mod to work.
Iv'e had that issue as well. It seems to be an issue within citron/sudachi itself. I've managed to not replicate the issue by either:
Running the game on Ryujinx or changing the backend API on citron/sudachi to OpenGL.
Could you also post what GPU your'e running?
So turning off best quality and using the 6 slot code does work, all of your gear is gray and that means it's fully customizable. For weapons and armor that is awesome. Since the augments for them are very good. It affects skell gear though and that's a bit worse, because the augments for skell gear are not quite as good. For example you can't get Ether or Gravity attack up augments for skells. So need a way for it to affect weapons and armor, but not all skell gear. The problem there is that some skell gear is bad and would benefit from the customization, so if maybe it could work on randomly on skell gear that would be best?

Damn that does bust the game wide open. A Receding Rust with 6 open slots is nuts. Busted Pharsis with 1 blossom dance for 37 mill.
Yeah sadly that's the byproduct. However, I've managed to play for a long while now without encountering the shadow issue with this 1440p mod at 2x Emu scaling (basically 2880p).

So, for anyone having shadow issues on Citron while using the resolution mods you have two choices:
Use OpenGL + any resolution mod. This will incur shader compilation stutter.
Use Vulkan + the attached 1440p mod. Resolutions higher than 1440p can then be achieved by updating the resolution scale, although the image quality won't be quite as great as the actual higher resolution mods.
