Takahashi is my boy. He knows what we like. He never lets us down.

Also Steven I got 9.4 consistent hours in with 60-30 cutscenes, Camera Speed fix and LoD and it's solid as well. Knock on wood. I think what's crashing people is the increased resolution mod. If I enable any of them I either get Vertex explosions or crashes after awhile. Using 2x under graphics is solid though. No issues.

Hey guys for some reason Citron keep crashing, sometimes the screen keep flickering is their any way to fix this here's the setting I use
Memory Layout option change to 4gb. And can you show Graphic settings (not advanced, but the one where resolution setting) Other settings are good and safe.

And what is this SDMC (LayeredFS) mod do ? Maybe disable it and test.

I accidentally with the 255 inventory cheat messed up the quick command mechanic because I now have too many Energy clips and I can't sell them is there a cheat which could refer it back to the base value of 6?

More of a general question to weigh the pros and cons of playing on hardware vs emulator, what features do you miss out on by playing on emulator? As in the online features and the like? I just am unsure how impactful they are.

So far - online features. I am hopeful that sometime down the track, similar to the CEMU version, we can have offline-online features or real-online features. But I get that it's complex and not as important as things like 60 FPS, LOD, etc.

The benefits are enormous. It's gorgeous and buttery smooth on an ultrawide screen 4k (assuming you have the grunt to output), but even on lower settings, it looks way better than the Switch version, IMO.

I guess if you are really keen you could port your save across? Not sure how feasible that is.

I didn't intend to really do the online multiplayer or anything, but I actually just didn't know what the online features entailed. I recalled the weird pseudo guild/team feature. I just didn't know how that worked without an internet connection.

xci version so it's unlikely

This sounds exactly like the bug that happens on CEMU using Vulkan and the DFPS++ mod it drops to a lower locked FPS after playing a few hours.
if that's true can you fix it, or is this citron's problem and our only choice is to wait for the devs to update the emulator?

I've noticed something about the FPS slow down, but not sure if it's a coincidence or not. On my PC (5800x3d with a 4080 Super) using Citron, it never slows down. It stays at 60 for hours. However, when I play on my Ally X (also with Citron), anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes of playing, it consistently starts to lose framerate. I'm wondering if this yet another issue with AMD graphics.

Edit: Both are using my own cart dump in NSP format with update 1.0.1 as a separate file.

I pasted it earlier in the thread:

Yeah, those wont work currenty. In CEMU there was a mod/cheat that let you play them offline. Hoping the same can be done for the switch version. There are certain things that are easier to farm in those area type battles.

03/24/2025 Mods Update

- Removed 1800p and 1900p Resolutions. You can still use them but this to avoid less trouble to manage.

- Added 4K (2160p), 5120x1440 (Ultrawide) and 5160x2160 (Ultrawide)

I think that I'm not missing anything else. I cannot test these updates from today by myself yet for work reasons, so reported issues will be read quite late (around 19:30-20:00 PM Spain).

Remember that you must include a screenshot or video recorded (prefered this last one), a description of your issue and how to reproduce it.

NOTE:

If you're having issues with 4K resolution change the Memory Layout to 6 - 8GB DRAM. Increase it if you still have issues but this is something that you MUST do only if you're having issues with this resolution.

Fl4sh told me that he defeated the boss fight in Chapter 2 and has been playing across the city with 4GB and no issues at all.

8K resolution is impossible. Game barely runs at 30FPS.

I don't know if Ryujinx or GreemDev's fork have the options. This screenshot it's from Kenji-NX's fork.

So the best emulator to play this on is Citron instead of Ryujinx (stability/mod support), right ?

I don't have hardly any issues with the ryujinx version, and i'm been playing on the ryujinx for nearly a whole week and had no issues with it.

the mods that I used also work well, just certain mods conflict with others.

Good morning guys, I have a slightly stupid question, how do I use mods that only contain the EXEFS file? the 60fps file uses this file, can I just replace it?
