Homebrew tagNX - a WIP to play *some* online third party games on banned switches

hey, do i need to signin with a genuine nso account or a fake linked nso account using tinfoil or no nso account? im currently using a fake nso account plus im using exosphere to blank prodinfo and 90dns and the patch doesnt seem to work on among us 2024.11.26n using tagnx. it just gives errorcode 2123-0011 (the switch one not atmosphere) and pressing close just says couldnt connect (nintendoauthfailed)

Pretty awesome. Always figured this should be possible for games like Minecraft, but takes a lot of work and could break very easily. Thanks for the effort!

I have original Minecraft playing in stock system but I would like to install Minecraft in CFW to play without need to change between OFW and CFW. Can I be banned if I connect in CFW with my Microsoft account? Should I create a new MS account or even play without login in CFW?

Whenever I try to load Minecraft it sticks at 91% and freezes. I'm on version 1.21.70, cannot find the latest update 1.21.71 anywhere yet. Am I missing something or is there a mismatch due to new versions. Also aware this is "dead" for the forseeable.

If not then stick to OFW. If it is then go CFW but probably try a new MS account just in case. Always wise to action a bit of caution.

You could but would run the risk of getting the entire console and account (both nintendo and microsoft) being banned. I don't think you need an NSO to play locally (2 kids in the same room)

Try running version 1.21.51, its still working for me, haven't tried later versions yet.

yo sorry for the random reply, does this support servers? Because for me it eithers says unable to connect or, failed to verify login, maybe im out of date im rn on 1.21.61 or something

didn't work for me either in version 1.21.0 but 1.21.51 works just fine, you can still grab it in nsw2u just make sure to reinstall the tagnx files afterwards.

reinstall tagnx files? I tought its the same for minecraft, its just the zip file on the root of the sd card right?
