Importing a savegame in to Steam?

I'm playing Cyberpunk (pirate) for some time, I really like it.
Is there a way to import this save game in the steam version off the game?

Saves are tied to your steam account for this game so no you will not be able to import your save of it to steam.

It depends, if you are talking Console to PC, then it's probably not possible(at least not without some kind of conversion).
If we're talking PC version to Steam, then there shouldn't be any major issues, you just have to find out where the saves for Steam are and copy them(might have to disable cloud saves for a bit, so that the saves don't get overwritten). Depending on where the game saves to, you might even not have to do anything, and have your saves right off the bat.

A quick general google search tells me that the saves are located at C:\Users\<yourusername>\Saved Games\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077. And a search for Steam and GOG versions also have the same location. Given the location, there's a good chance you'll have access to your saves just by installing the Steam version of the game. You might want to make a back up copy just in case before trying.

just my opinion GOG version is better due to no drm should be less painful to import saves I wished valve made it as simple as an import button (albet disabling achievements for games you import saves too) also vac is another thing you must worry about (something i dislike on pure 1 player games ) because it breaks the game for steam OS

Just buy Cyberpunk 2077 from steam and my "pirate" save game is working fine in that version.

the steam version of cyberpunk doesn't have drm
