Appreciate the thorough follow-up and updates, it really helps those of us who are keeping an eye on these mods.
The future "Super5+" with 1080p support sounds potentially promising, but I wouldn't get one until internal 1080p is implemented in Horizon. I've long learned not to buy hardware with the promise of future software that may never materialize. Also, I'm not a huge fan of 1080p internal regardless, since the Switch already struggles with 720p in handheld mode. This issue is compounded by the Lite having less undervolt/overclock potential than other Mariko Switches due to its lower power limits.
The lack of touch isn't as big of a deal for regular games, but isn't touch required to navigate Hekate's menus? I can see that being a major issue for modded units.
It's a shame because I think with a true no-compromise screen solution, a modded Lite could be the ultimate portable console.
