Hello
So I'm a Legacy HaxChi user wanting to convert to Aroma, and I know this might sound stupid, but is there anyway I can keep the HaxChi installation on my Wii U while/after converting? i wouldn't be using it anymore after switching of course, but for reasons, I don't want to get rid of it unless it is absolutely necessary. Since it's NOT CBCH, but just the regular version, is this possible?
Yes you can. But obviously you have to uninstall coldboot haxchi if you use it.

If you install Aroma, I really suggest you also install ISFShax, which in my opinion should be installed in all hacked Wii U's.

Thanks alot! I figured it would be possible but wanted some confirmation first. Was beginning to think I'd have to ask elsewhere for an answer.

I wasn't planning on installing ISFShax, but I did a quick read and see that the purpose of this is for brick protection. I'll look into this as well then. Thanks again

I'm using aroma only and I don't have 01_sigpatches module but I can install DLCs and run Games + DLCs.
I didn't expect this.

The guide website removed the needed of this file some time ago.

Can anyone tell my why?

Does Aroma or mocha module have sigpatches included?

Edit:
I'm using minute to launch aroma in fact.

If you installed them from the eShop or dumped from the disc, then you don't need sigpatches

I noticed if I lauch minute (with wafel_plugin) + aroma, signpatches are not needed.
If I lauch aroma direcly, I need the signpatches.

is it minute or the wafel plugin that patches the system?

i know, but it's not the case!

Now that we have aroma cfw, does it mean now we can use one wii u formated hdd on multiple wii u ?
In theory you can, but if you move the HDD to another wiiu, the games will not show up unless you have their tickets installed.

Of course, As no one wants to bother doing the bothering operation of transferring the tickets, telling the truth, answer is no!

This element has immediately become annoying when a certain plugin (specifically Swip Swap Me) decided to take a more than advisory approach to this. Yes, I mapped swapping the screens and taking a screenshot to the TV button. I don't use them both at the same time! and if I did, I'd probably just use the menu to do a Swip Swap while keeping the button disabled. No fault to you Aroma guys, mind you. Detecting conflicts is a useful feature.

@Maschell Could you please make resolving button combo conflicts optional in the next update? Thank you in advance.

EDIT: Oh, while I'm here, another ask is that downloading the payload installer should be optional in the Aroma updater for those of us who use ISFSHax and have set up Stroopwafel to load payloads.

I would just use the one from the updater so it stops nagging. The one from ISFShax just handles the case where aroma isn't there. But since you have aroma, it doesn't matter

If this is not a de-facto "Noob Paradise" like they have on the DS forum, then I apologize, but I have a weird issue with my Wiiu after I homebrewed it with Aroma.

For context, I freshly modding my WiiU (never been homebrewed before) with Aroma using the wonderful Wii U Hacks Guide and ISFShax via the ISFShax guide for the sake of the SDUSB addon.

When I power on my Wiiu, the disk drive will click twice, and the whole console appears to be frozen (No display nor does the gamepad connect). Only by holding the power button on the console to shut it off and powering it back on will it boot up and behave normally (I have a disk in, so when the disk drive revs up, I know it's booting).

It has been consistent.

I have tried turning off the standby and quickstart features of the Wiiu, but that didn't seem to change anything.

The problem will only appear when I let my console sit, meaning if I quickly turn the console off and back on, it will not display these symptoms.

The console is always plugged into power if that means anything,

What color does the LED have before you try to turn it on, when it will get stuck. But the issue doesn't seem aroma related.

Red. Then powers onto the normal violet color.

It could be a minute issue with ISFShax, but I don't know enough to say one way or another. Have to start somewhere.
