The White House actually reversed course pretty damn quickly following mass backlash in response to the federal funding freeze. The more bullshit he tries to pull that has nothing to do with any of his campaign promises, the faster the resistance grows. We can also use the same legal tactics Trump has in the past to tie his agenda up in the courts for months or years at a time, even if we ultimately can't trust SCOTUS to enforce the Constitution as written.
Like realistically I'm going to be less charitable because I anticipate the price of various goods to go up and I also need to be prepared if my wife gets pregnant again and we have complications again. My personal finances will have to be a lot more conservative on account of "owning the libs"
