Hello,
Because the servers are shut down, I decided to share some of the files I made to help others with unlocking several things.
To do this, you need to replace your save file (using a save manager) and/or the "patch_wiiu.ipk" file (using FTP to the games' Update folder)
Also make sure your games are updated before doing this.
My saves are for PAL but should work on NTSC too (I think? didn't properly test them all the way)
What I can't/won't add:
- community remixes and VIP-mades (to any game);
- Brand New Start to PAL JD4 (it uses a different engine than the one I found tools for);
- The Uplay screen on JD14;

In the Google Drive link, there's a folder named 'EXTRA SONG BUNDLES'. Those contain the necessary files for adding extra songs to your base game.

for JD4:
I'll share my own save file, which has all of the Uplay rewards

for JD14:
(PAL) I'll share my own save file for PAL that has all of the monthly mashups unlocked
(NTSC) a patch that has Safe And Sound, Waking Up In Vegas, monthly mashups and Uplay rewards already unlocked (you may need to reset your save)

for JD15:
I'll share a patch that allows you to unlock the uplay rewards + online avatars (for the monthly mashups unlock, you can use up-up-down-down-left-right-left-right-b-b combo on the title screen)
(For extra songs, download BlockFlows_WIIU.ipk, Bundle_6_WIIU.ipk, Patch_WIIU.ipk and secure_fat.gf)

for JD16:
Added a patch that, when creating a new save, will let you unlock the Uplay avatars, Uplay maps, Stadium Flow Mashup (for NTSC) and the online-related progress bar avatars as mojo (it may not appear in the menu that each game mode is 100%, but at least you'll get the reward)

for JD19:
adds back Nice For What + the Uplay avatars + adjusted some of the titles so that all of them can be unlocked offline (you may need to reset your save in case of crashes or bugs)

for Yokai Watch: JD Special Edition:
I included a folder with some of QR codes from toys that can be scanned via de gamepad camera to unlock avatars.
You can only scan 5 codes per day.

there may be some UI bugs at first, but on the consoles I've tested, nothing bad happened.
NOTE: BE CAREFUL AND ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOU BACKUP YOUR GAME FILES IN CASE ANYTHING GOES WRONG, I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY BRICKS.
THIS PROJECT IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH UBISOFT, ALL CREDITS AND COPYRIGHTS GO TO THEIR RESPECTIVE OWNERS

If there are any requests for other games/maps, let me know.
If you encounter any bugs, please explain in detail what happened and include your console region as well.
I'll update this post with a proper tutorial later on.
If you wish to port any of these patches to other consoles, feel free to do so, just remember to credit the other peeps as well.

  • 2017: uplay avatars + online progress-bar skins + mashups + exclusives

  • 2019: exclusives

1. Is there any chance of adding to the 2014 patch the possibility of unlocking monthly mashups and uplay stuff through mojo? That way we'd be able to unlock everything with our save files and only having our own scores.
Post automatically merged:

btw, is there any file that can let us unlock stadium flow mashup for JD2016 NTSC on Wii U?

1. it probably is but idk how to do it yet, if I figure it out I'll update the post
2. I'll get to working on that too

Hi!

This JD2019 file is really useful, thank you so much! Just tested it and it works perfectly fine on the PAL game.

If you’re really able to add Safe and Sound to the PAL 2014 I’d appreciate it so much, my physical game is PAL so I wouldn’t need to install the NTSC version just for that song 🥹

Also a suggestion: not sure if it’s possible or not, but do you think it’s possible to add Brand New Start to the PAL JD4 for Wii U? That’s the only song this version is missing, so if it’s possible to add it, it would be the most complete version of JD4 :)

JD4 uses a different engine than the ones I found tools for, so unless someone makes something to add songs to it, I can't add it + Brand New Start was only available on Wii and Xbox, I can't enable it.

I know :<

If someone knew how to add custom DLCs to JD4, then there would be a way to add Brand New Start. Similar to JD2014, if you’re able to add Safe And Sound as DLC to the PAL version that would be just perfect.

I tried doing it myself a long time ago but the files and folders layout for in-game songs seems different to the DLC ones, so I just gave up.

Adding the region exclusive songs is planned, but will take some time as I'm busy with other things :,))

UPDATE:
JD14 NTSC: updated the patch so that the monthly mashups and uplay rewards are automatically unlocked when creating a new save, please download the latest patch and reset your save to enjoy them

Ok, thank you so much, you’re amazing!

All of these will be so useful, I’m glad there’s someone else interested in doing these kinds of things for the Wii U :)

UPDATE:
JD19: updated the patch so that the uplay avatars are now unlockable by playing the gift machine + changed the unlock condition for a couple aliases so that they all will be unlockable through an offline playthrough
Please download the latest patch.
If you notice any bugs or crashes when installing the new patch, you might need to reset your save.

Hey, I tried using the JD 2014 patch_WIIU file to add safe and sound on Cemu, but the song doesn't appear (I haven't re-encrypted the game) is this normal? Do I have to update securefat?

Which version of the game do you have?
The PAL version of the game does not have the song yet. The NTSC version requires you to delete your previous save (inside the MLC folder)

I got it eventually, you forgot to specify the patch had to be put in the update folder instead of the game's folder (you just said you need the update installed, not the patch installed to the update)

Opps! My bad, thanks for pointing it out, added it to the post.

UPDATE:
I succesfully managed to add Papaoutai + ALTERNATE + MASHUP to the NTSC version of the game, but I ran into a problem, the DLCs stop appearing in the menu.
The same problem also happens with JD14 when adding the respective regional songs.
Until I figure that out, I'll work on the later games.

Seems like something's wrong with the way I'm making the 'secure_fat.gf' file in the patch (using the one from Wukko's GitHub). If anyone here has any idea or clue and would like to help me understand UbiArt Framework, I'd be forever thankful

Maybe you can try adding the songs as DLC, the DLC install for Wii U has a separate folder for every song, with separate securefat files. We can hope that could work.

i managed to get it working, turns out it was just 4 bytes in the header that needed changing lol

Great! Do you have an ETA for when safe and sound pal could release?
Not really... I try my best to finish these as fast as possible (working with older games causes lots of bugs that I need to fix before I send these patches out)
