The overwhelming consensus on many scientific topics is based on extensive research and peer-reviewed studies. The reason why there's a, 'disagreement" is due to the misinformation and controversy flowing around, mainly fueled by false claims or ideological debates. They give one clear answer as to why it's that way, and there's always a group that wants to put it down to better align with their beliefs.
