I just checked, and it's 100% the font that's the problem. I'll have to create a new font file for it that supports these characters. If you can give me a run down of which characters you use the most, so that I don't have to do all of them, that would be great! Thank you!

Can you show me what they would look like if you opened the file up in tinke? Because I just want to check if my app is putting them in correctly or not, that is if you were using it

Hey! Thank you for your kind words. Unfortunately, it is against the regulations of this site to provide complete roms, so I can't provide it even if I wanted to. I truly apologise. There are websites that host the game already patched, but to my knowledge none of them have this one, sadly enough. So I'm sorry, but I can't be of any more help! You previously mentioned sites that have uploaded patched versions, are you in contact with one of them or is there a chance of a compromise, for example that the roms with the final translation can be uploaded to other sites without consequences or perhaps privately via social media like for example Instagram?
And if none of that is possible, I wanted to ask for advice as to why my attempts could have failed. I'm using an Android and trying to apply the patch to Unipatcher so that I can then play it on Drastic Emulator. I have to do something with your patch first, for example it unzip it or can you just use it? And how should I generally approach this if I want to use your patches successfully because there is usually always an error like it is not compatible with the ROM etc. Otherwise, I can't describe in words how grateful we are that you exist. You are a gift. Like you, I am one of those people who have always wanted to play this game. I thank you in advance for your answer.

I used unipatcher before and iirc you have to unzip the rom

If you want to use the patch, it would be just easier if you headed to a website called Rom Patcher JS by marc robledo, and apply the patch from there, as that is the website I use to create the patches to begin with. Other than that, make sure that you are using the original unpatched japanese rom when you want to apply the patch, as that is the one that will work. Hope this helps!

Where you can easily apply the patch because I've tried countless times now, but the page always crashes as soon as I try to insert the current patch, is this normal or what could be the problem? The file may be too large because I can insert the ROM without any problems and after I downloaded the patch I immediately inserted the patch without changing anything to it. Forgive me for the many questions, this is my first time trying something like this

Don't worry about it at all! So because the patch is so big, it takes a while to apply it, so you'll have to leave the website open for a while for it to apply the patch. Try it out and get back to me!

Hey guys! I finally finished up my finals, and I'm back to work at full force! I would like to first of all wish you all happy holidays to whoever celebrates Christmas, and hope you enjoyed opening your gifts. Speaking of gifts, even though you're supposed to open them in the morning, I guess I'll give you mine fashionably late. I would love for you all to enjoy the latest patch of the translation, with chapter 2 fully complete, and with the slight errors (where it said after finishing a level in the result screen QA クセサリー or something like that, which was supposed to say Accessory) now fixed. Fixing that error, however, necessitated that I decompress the arm9, which means patches will now be a lot bigger, so I would like to apologize for that from now, but trust me, this game is worth it! So please enjoy these 3 new episodes to your hearts' content! I know some of you might have already seen episode 2-3 from my bluesky account (if you haven't, check me out on there), but here is a quick preview of it, along with the new episodes:

To be honest, it's not improving. The problem here is as soon as I insert the patch it first loads for nh second as the patch is being read then it crashes or the page reloads I don't even have the chance to press "apply patch" while the file is being read crashes it off. what else can I do could it be because I'm using Android?

It's weird that you're experiencing this. I just tried it myself from my android phone and it worked just fine. Did make sure to unzip the rom so that you're working on the .nds file rather than on a rar file? That is the only problem I can think of, honestly. There is no reason for it not to work, especially since it's done online, so it shouldn't be consuming resources from your phone, so even if you had an old and slow phone, it shouldn't matter. Try unpacking the game using your phone's file manager or through winrar on your phone. Hope it works for you now!

Is it normal that the picollo tutorial was only partially translated as it was displayed in Japanese again from the second part 2. For the future, how do I go about this? If you keep uploading new patches, do I delete the previous one and do the whole process again only with the new patch? And when will the focus be on story mode because i played the first level you translated it sooo good youre the man

Yeah, so the tutorials aren't yet translated, as they aren't at the beginning of the file of the dialogue, and it would be a hassle to do them before the rest honestly. However, there are still tutorials in the options menu, which are actually fully translated, so you can try to look at those. As for future patches, unfortunately, you will have to repeat the process all over again everytime, as that is how patching works.

what if u sent an encrypted link to a google drive link of a .txt file that has a link to a google sites with a google drive link that has the complete rom file

thats how some dude on reddit leaked the plankton movie without the moderators knowing lol

it could work cause technically you gave the link to a .txt file not a rom

I m fine with the patch every time. You guys should worry about that when this wonderful human finishes the translation. It really would be a pain in the axx to do a google link slash what ever. Besides its still a tos violation. I shouldn't have to explain that.

Hmmm... Well if you say it's been working with previous patches, then it's probably a problem with the fact that the arm9 for this patch is not compressed, which I had to do to change some values that were still in Japanese, but I couldn't compress it back. However, using patches is generally known to be buggy on anything other than twm++, so there's also that. Sorry I couldn't be of any more assistance! Hope you still liked the game!

This is great. Can't wait for story mode to be fully translated. Imo this game has better cutscenes and story telling than its 3ds sequel extreme butoden, which is funny considering it was made on an inferior hardware.
